The “A Hole In The Desert” treasure hunt is found in the Forbidden Lands region. To finish it you will first have to find the treasure map and then find the treasure. Here are the locations…
Treasure Map Location. You will obtain this treasure map during the “Eyes in The Desert” side quest. You can start this side quest by talking to Keeneyes in the village. During this side quest you will pick up a lore item. You will get the map at the same time as you pick it up. If you miss this side quest you will be able to still buy the map from the Village Vendor after reaching the 2nd region.
Treasure Location. Found in the desert, just south of where you get the treasure map and the lore item.
