The “A Lofty Cave” treasure hunt is found in the Wildlands region. To finish it you will first have to find the treasure map and then find the treasure. Here are the locations…
Treasure Map Fragment 1/3. Talk to Lighbow to start the “Old Acquaintances” side quest. During this side quest you will have to follow wildlife. Do this to get the treasure map fragment.
Treasure Map Fragment 2/3. Found on a platform halfway up the mountain. Follow the animal until it digs up the treasure map fragment.
Treasure Map Fragment 3/3. Follow the animal to the north of the watchtower until it digs up the treasure map fragment (only available after clearing the Watchtower).
Treasure. The treasure can be found by going to the west of where you first enter this region and raising the platform. Use it to get to the area above you. Then, go east until you see a cave on your left containing the buried chest.
