Sleep Awake All Collectibles
This guide will show you where to find every collectible in Sleep Awake.

There are 3 types of collectibles in Sleep Awake. None have any gameplay implications, but they will help you understand the story and the world of Sleep Awake Better. They are all missable, and there is no chapter select, so if you miss one, you will have to start over. Collecting each one of the 3 collectible types will also get you a trophy. These are:
10 Microfilms - Microfiche Volumes Complete Trophy
5 Tape Players - Reel to Reel Complete Trophy
8 Void Shadows - Void Shadows Put To Rest Trophy
Prologue.
Tape Player #1 . Directly in front of you when starting the game.
Microfilm #1. After the previous collectible, turn around and this Microfilm will be on the table.
Chapter 1. Does not have collectibles.
Chapter 2. Does not have collectibles.
Chapter 3.
Microfilm #2. After passing through the dentist section with the dentures and teeth in a jar, this Microfilm will be directly in front of you.
Void Shadow #1. Obtained automatically during Chapter 3, cannot be missed.
Microfilm #3. Directly from the previous collectible, instead of going forward after leaving the hut, go to the right to find this Microfilm.
Void Shadow #2. After picking up the lever to open a gate, you will find this Void Shadow on the floor directly in front of you. hard to miss it.
Microfilm #4. After squeezing past two cabinets, this Microfilm will be directly in front of you.
Trophy: Ride the Lightning. Directly from the previous collectible, if you take damage from the electricity, you will obtain this trophy.
Microfilm #5. After seeing the building collapse in front of you, turn around, go to the end of the area, and you will find this Microfilm.
Microfilm #6. Right after you use the infusion, you will be teleported to another area. In this new area, the Microfilm will be at the end, on top of a table.
Chapter 4.
Void Shadow #3. When you arrive at the theater, enter the elevator to find this Void Shadow.
Void Shadow #4. After you have to jump into the entrance area of an elevator that just fell, you will be directly in a corridor with several graffiti. Enter the room on the left to find this Void Shadow.
Tape Player #2. After you meet Amma for the first time, you will interact with the tape player as part of the main objective, so this cannot be missed.
Chapter 5. Does not have collectibles.
Chapter 6.
Microfilm #7. At the beginning of Chapter 6, you will be back in your house. This Microfilm will be on the table.
Chapter 7.
Void Shadow #5. At the beginning of Chapter 7, right after you go down the stairs, this Void Shadow will be directly in front of you as you crawl under the rocks.
Microfilm #8. After crawling under a cabinet, climb the stairs and turn into the first room on the right to find this Microfilm.
Trophy: Knight’s Gambit. After solving the puzzle in your father's room, pick up the chess piece, go through the door at the end of the hallway using the security card, and place the chess piece on the chessboard to obtain this trophy.
Void Shadow #6. After interacting with the furnace, proceed forward and you will pass under some pipes and have to interact with a grate. After the grate, instead of going right up the green ladder, go left and pass through the gas until you reach a cell. Inside this cell, you will find the Void Shadow.
Void Shadow #7. When you reach the pharmacy, it will be directly in front of you. hard to miss.
Tape Player #3. Story-related, cannot be missed. Right after placing the seed in the pot and growing a tree to obtain the access card.
Microfilm #9. From the previous collectible, after solving the puzzles in this area, you will go down some stairs. The collectible will be on your left, on top of a box. Pick it up.
Void Shadow #8. Directly from the previous collectible, you will find your father. After some dialogue and you interact with a lever, a cutscene will begin. After the cutscene, this Void Shadow will be in front of you. If you have followed the guide up to this point, you will receive the 'Void Shadows Put To Rest' trophy.
Chapter 8. Does not have collectibles.
Chapter 9.
Trophy: Strike a Chord. When you reach the Dad's Room, interact with the instrument in the back to obtain this trophy.
Tape Player #4. Interact with the object on the bookshelf to get the cabinet key, take the tape inside the cabinet, and place it in the tape player.
Microfilm #10. Pick it up on the table. If you have followed the guide up to this point, you will receive the 'Microfiche Volumes Complete' trophy for finding all Microfilms.
Tape Player #5. After solving all the puzzles in the Dad's Room, a door will open. Go through it, and once inside, you will find the ultimate tape player. If you have followed the guide up to this point, you will receive the 'Reel to Reel Complete' trophy.
Chapter 10. Does not have collectibles.
Chapter 11. Does not have collectibles.
Chapter 12. Does not have collectibles.
