PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: October 20, 2026
100% Guides ("we," "us," or "our") runs 100pguides.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit the Site, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
You do not need an account or need to give us any personal information to read our trophy guides, walkthroughs, reviews or interactive maps. Some information is still collected in the following ways:
- Automatically collected data: like most websites, our hosting platform (Squarespace), our security provider (Cloudflare) and our analytics tool (Google Analytics) collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location (based on your IP address), the pages you visit, the site that sent you to us and how long you stay.
- Comments: if you post a comment on a guide, your name and your comment are shown publicly. Squarespace, which runs our comments, may ask you to sign in or to give an email address before you post. Your email address is never shown publicly.
- Emails: if you email us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
- Cookies: see the "Cookies" section below.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. They help a website work properly and, in some cases, help third parties such as advertisers understand how you use it. The Site uses cookies for:
- Site functionality: basic cookies set by Squarespace so the Site loads and works correctly.
- Security: Cloudflare may set a cookie to check that visits come from real people and to protect the Site from bots and attacks.
- Analytics: Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits and show us which guides are most useful, so we know what to improve and what to write next.
- Advertising: we use Google AdSense to show ads, which keep the Site free to read. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
- Embedded videos: some guides include YouTube videos. YouTube (owned by Google) may set cookies when you play one.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, Google will ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time through the privacy and cookie settings link at the bottom of the page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the Site may not work as well without them.
Third-Party Services
We use the following services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Squarespace: hosts the Site and runs our comments. Squarespace Privacy Policy
- Cloudflare: protects the Site and helps it load quickly. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
- Google Analytics: visitor statistics. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Google AdSense: shows the ads on the Site.
- YouTube: plays the videos embedded in some guides.
Google's services are covered by the Google Privacy Policy. We do not control how these companies use the data they collect, so we encourage you to read their policies.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above to run, protect and improve the Site, to understand which guides are useful, to show the ads that keep the Site free, to look after the comments and to reply to messages you send us. We never sell your personal information.
How Long We Keep It
Emails are kept only as long as we need them to deal with your message. Comments stay on the Site until they are removed. Analytics data is kept for a limited time and then deleted automatically.
Children's Privacy
The Site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or limit how it is used, and to withdraw your consent at any time. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, these rights are given to you by the GDPR, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email us at [email protected].
Links to Other Websites
Our guides sometimes link to other websites, such as game stores or videos. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
