Wuchang All Inner Demon Locations
This guide will show you where to find the 6 Inner Demons in Wuchang. Defeating all 6 will get you the "Quelling Madness" trophy.

There are 6 Inner Demons in Wuchang. These are enemies that invade and attack you when you get to certain locations. If you defeat all 6 of them, you will get the “Quelling Madness” trophy/achievement.
Inner Demon #1. Worship’s Rise - Annalum.
From the shrine, head up the hill and stick to the left in the area with paths going over water. On the other side of the area, you will find a path going down to the left. At the bottom, the demon will appear just as you get to the Pagoda. If you don’t know how to get to this optional area, from the Shu Sanctum shrine, turn around and head out the main door. Go down the stairs and cross the invisible bridge on your right. Then go left and enter the bamboo area. Head up the hill on your right to get to another small village. Make your way through the village until you get to the Fire Bird enemy. Finally, go down the hill to the left of the Fire Bird to find this area.
Inner Demon #2. Worship’s Rise - Doomwillow Beach.
From the shrine continue on the main path (not the path to Lu Mansion) until you get to the red water river. Cross the water and then go left to find the demon.
Inner Demon #3. Cloudspire - Cloudspire Outskirts.
From the shrine, go to the area with the second corruption pillar. Here, go left and go down the path with the cannons being fired at you. The demon will spawn once you get to the burning building at the end.
Inner Demon #4. Cloudspire - Snowfall Palace.
Head up the main stairs of the Palace and go right to get inside. Stick to the right corridor to get to a large room with a lift that works with a pressure pad on it. Press it and get off to let the lift go up without you. This will reveal a secret lift below it. Stand on the hidden pressure plate in the central column of the secret lift to go down to the secret area below. The demon will spawn when approaching the small chest in the corner.
Inner Demon #5. Mt. Zhenwu - Refugee Camp.
From the shrine, go right and follow the path until you go down a small hill. Here, look right to see another path with more tents and a campfire. Follow the path past the tents to find an area with water on the other side. The demon will spawn once you get to the far side of this area.
Inner Demon #6. Mt. Zhenwu - Avian Marsh.
Leave the hut with the shrine in it and follow the water for a few metres until you see an entrance on your left with a massive clam enemy. Go past it and up the hill on the left. Follow this path until you see a burned bird’s nest on your right with an item in it. Interact with the item, and the nest will collapse beneath you. You will then drop into the area where the demon invades you.
