Wuchang All Tao Qing Shop Expansion Locations
This guide will show you where to find all 17 Shop Expansion Items for Tao Qing in Wuchang. Giving him all 17 will get you the "Well Traveled" trophy.

There are 17 Items you can give to Tao Qing to expand his shop. Giving him items will allow you to purchase more useful things from his shop. The location of Tao Qing himself will change as you make your way through the main story. If you don’t know where to find him, go to any shrine and use the “Teleport” menu and look for his icon next to the area names. Once you give him all 17 items, you will get the “Well Traveled” trophy.
Possible Bug: I waited until the very last moment of the game to give him every item, and I was not able to give him the “Scenic Painting”. This looks like a bug, so make sure you give it to him as soon as you pick it up!
Copper Jar.
Automatically obtained when defeating the Master Raider - Man-eating Dhuntanga boss.
Scenic Painting. Worship’s Rise - Annalum.
From the shrine, head up the hill and go right in the area with paths going over water. Stick to the right until you find a round opening in the wall. Go through it and cross the wooden bridge to find a red-eyed enemy. Defeat this enemy to get the item. If you don’t know how to get to this optional area, from the Shu Sanctum shrine, turn around and head out the main door. Go down the stairs and cross the invisible bridge on your right. Then go left and enter the bamboo area. Head up the hill on your right to get to another small village. Make your way through the village until you get to the Fire Bird enemy. Finally, go down the hill to the left of the Fire Bird to find this area.
Jade Cicada. Worship’s Rise - Shu Sanctum.
Obtained by defeating the optional boss “Gluttonous Monstrosity”. From the Shu Sanctum shrine, turn around and head out the main door. Go down the stairs and cross the invisible bridge on your right. Then go left and enter the bamboo area. Head up the hill on your right to get to another small village. Make your way through the village until you get to the Fire Bird enemy. After the fire bird enemy, continue on any of the two paths around the buildings behind the fire bird to get to an optional boss. Defeat this boss to get the item.
Priest’s Broken Cane.
Obtained automatically after defeating the “Feathered Priest” boss.
Believer’s Statue.
Obtained automatically after defeating the “Blightweaver” boss.
Alltree Jade Cylinder.
Obtained automatically after defeating the “Reborn Treant” boss.
Seven Treasure Rosary. Cloudspire - Rebel Camp.
Obtained by defeating the “General Of The North” boss. From the shrine, drop down the small ladder and then go left. Follow this path to find the boss gate.
Wooden Strip.
Obtained automatically after defeating the “Ming General” boss.
Shell Cup.
Obtained automatically after defeating the “Misstress of the Night” boss.
Shu Silk Fan.
Obtained automatically after defeating the “Perfect Bride” boss.
Copper Drum. Mt. Zhenwu - Avian Dwelling.
Obtained by defeating the “Bo Sorcerer” boss at the end of the Avian Dwelling area.
Tortoise Ingot.
Obtained automatically after defeating the “Fierce Tiger” boss.
Ivory Seal. Mt. Zhenwu - Bai Mansion.
Obtained by defeating the “Bai Kru” boss in Bai Mansion. To get to this optional area, follow the path after the “Fierce Tiger” boss fight without talking to the Storyteller.
Ice Crystal. Worship’s Rise In Ruins - Palace Pass.
Obtained by defeating the “Vermilion Feathers - Honglan” boss just past the shrine. To get to this shrine. Go to the Shu Sanctum shrine, and go up the stairs on the left. Then leave the temple by crossing the bridge, and then go right up the hill. As you make your way up the hill, look for a path that takes you down to the right. At the bottom, go left. Then continue on this path until you eventually reach the “Palace Pass” shrine.
Magu’s Eyepiece. Worship’s Rise In Ruins - Palace Entrance.
Obtained by defeating the “Bo Magus” boss fight found just past the Palace Entrance shrine. You can get to this shrine by continuing down the path past the “Vermilion Feathers - Honglan” boss mentioned in the previous collectible.
Jade Belt Hook.
Obtained automatically after defeating the “Dragon Emperor” boss.
Shu Army Board. Mt. Zhenwu - Avian Dwelling.
You can get this item if you finish the White-Robed Elder’s side quest and then return to the field of white flowers where you last talked to him in Avian Dwelling once you reach the final region of the game (Bo Capital). This will trigger a secret boss fight that rewards you with the item. You can find the full side quest guide HERE.
