There are possible endings in Wuchang. The Jarful of Medicine is the Bad Ending and the easiest to get. Follow these steps to get it.

Step 1. During the 4th region of the game in Worship’s Rise In Ruins - Reverent Temple, you will head back into the cave where you started the game. Here you will find Xuanyangzi. Talk to him and select “Hand Over The Jade Feathered Chisel” (you will get this item automatically during the story). There are other ways of getting this ending, like if you didn’t finish He and Fang’s side quest, but this will lock in the bad ending no matter what.

Step 2. Now just finish the game by defeating the final boss and interacting with the gate after the boss to get the ending.
