This guide will show you where to find every collectible in the THE BLACK ALMS: Citadel region in Atlas Fallen.

Here you will find the locations of all collectibles in the THE BLACK ALMS: Citadel region. This includes All Gauntlet Shards, All Lore Items, All Armor Sets, All Cosmetics, All Essence Stones (And Formulas), All Treasure Maps, Treasure Map Fragments & Trasures, All Wildliffe Habitats, All Watchtowers, All Anvils, All Heavenly Shrines, All Vantage Points, All Idols, All Sand Echos, All Elite Foes & All Sealing Totems.
NOTE: Some collectibles in this area are missable. I recommend you follow the guide in order to not miss anything!
This guide will follow this structure (if you follow it step by step you will get everything without missing anything):
Collectibles from story quests (anything like missable side quests or collectibles will also be mentioned inbetween).
Collectibles from side quests.
Open world collectibles & shops.
Treasures from the treasure maps.
Cosmetic (Lion Chestplate). As soon as you enter the region, talk to Khendra to get this cosmetic.
Treasure Map (Swamped). Talk to Khendra again to get the “Catch Up With Arif” quest. Then, just talk to Arif to get the map.
Sealing Totem #1. You will have to clear this Sealing Totem to open the northern gate (story related).
Armor (Rite Of The Mire) & Forgotten Path #1. Talk to Smith in the first camp to start the “Ancient Armour” side quest. During this quest you will have to finish a forgotten path. Finish it to get the armor (full side quest guide HERE).
Idol Of Power. Go down the hill from the camp to find a group of NPCs with a side quest. Finish the side quest to get the idol.
Anvil #1. Found in the camp at the start of the region.
Lore (A Knight’s Plight). Found near the edge in the northern part of the camp.
Active Formula XIX. Inside a buried chest in the area just north of the camp at the start.
Lore (My Sister). In the area with the pyre above the camp.
Lore (The Final Battle). Found near the tower in the first camp.
Active Formula XXI. Found in the chest near the tower in the first camp.
Vantage Point #1. Found on the edge of the cliff near the anvil.
Forgotten Path #2 & Active Formula XVIII. Found near the cliffside to the south of the camp. The formula is found at the end of the Forgotten Path.
Sealing Totem #2 & Cosmetic (A Simple, Small Metal Shield). Found on the path leading down to the watchtower from the camp. Finish the Sealing Totem to get the cosmetic.
Anvil #2. Found at the bottom of the hill.
Active Formula XX. Found in a red chest at the bottom of the hill.
Lore (Apology To Valery). Found on the edge of the cliff to the left, just past the wildlife.
Heavenly Shrine #1. Found on the small island to the southwest of the watchtower.
Treasure Map (By The Wayside). Found in the chest on the side of the small island.
Elite Foe (Fiur), Watchtower & Essence Stone (Quickening Venom). Defeat the Elite Foe near the watchtower to unlock it. Make sure you loot the Essence Stone from the Elite Foe.
Wildlife #1 & Treasure Map Fragment (A Forest With Secrets 1/3). Follow the animal with the golden glow until it digs up the treasure map fragment. You must have cleared the watchtower first.
Active Formula XVII. Found in a chest in the tree just before the sandy area with the watchtower (you will need to clear the watchtower to get this chest).
Forgotten Path #3 & Cosmetic (Ivory Dye). The Forgotten Path can be found in the desert. Follow the path to get the cosmetic at the top.
Elite Foe (Skorchur) & Essence Stone (Scrificial Generation). The Elite Foe can be found on the bottom most island of the island group to the east of the region. Loot the foe to get the essence stone.
Anvil #3. Found on the group of islands to the east of the region. You will come across this anvil on your way to one of the main objectives.
Vantage Point #2. On top of the building in the middle of the island group to the east of the region.
Heavenly Shrine #2. Found on the south side of the middle island of the island group to the east of the region.
Cosmetic (Mint Steel Dye). In a chest found halfway up the tower in the middle of the group of islands to the east to the right of the region.
Idol Of Trade. Found in a chest in the middle of the quick sand area.
Sealing Totem #3. Found in the desert area near a destroyed tower.
Essence Stone (Lone Fight). Found in a chest guarded by enemies in the desert.
Vantage Point #3. Use the Forgotten Path in the ruins to get up to the Vantage Point.
Formula XXVIII. Talk to the guard in the desert ruin to start the “Defending The Outpost” side quest. Finish it to get the formula.
Sealing Totem #4 & Essence Stone (Lucky Streak). Clear the Sealing Totem near the ruins to get the Essence Stone in the chest at the end.
Heavenly Shrine #3 & #4. One found each side of the entrace to the walled off area of the desert. Climb around the walls to destroy the upper cracks.
Formula XXVIII. Found in the chest at the top of the tower on the east side of the wall.
Essence Stone (Lucky Stun). In the chest on the other side of the quick sand.
Anvil #4. In plain sight on the main road.
Idol Of Momentum. Found in a chest guarded by enemies in the upper area to the west of the walls.
Wildlife #2 & Treasure Map Fragment (A Forest With A Secret 2/3). Follow the animal with the golden glow until it digs up the treasure map.
Heavenly Shrine #5. Found at the end of the path to the north of the desert.
Vantage Point #4. From the Heavenly Shrine in the northwest corner of the region, climb along the wall to your south until you see the vantage point on a high rock.
Forgotten Path #4 & Cosmetic (Owl Chestplate). The Forgotten Path can be found on the highest tower above the gate you open during the story. Follow the path to the end to get the cosmetic.
Wildlife #3 & Treasure Map Fragment (A Forest With Secrets 3/3). Follow the animal to the north of the gate until it digs up the treasure map.
Active Formula XXII: Found in a red chest to the north of the gate.
Sealing Totem #5. Found in the area to the north of the gate.
Forgotten Path #5. Found near the edge of the cliff in the green area to the north of the gate.
Anvil #5. Found in the northern part of the region just before entering the cave to one of the main objectives.
Elite Foe (Skorpur) & Essence Stone (Perilous Parry). After going through the story related gate, follow the path to the right until you find the foe at the end. The Essence can be looted from the foe once you defeat it.
Sealing Totem #6. After defeating the story related mini boss in the northern area, go through the cave on the left (of the map). Once you come out the other side you will see the Sealing Totem.
Camp Vendor. You can find this shop in the camp at the start. She will sell you the following collectibles:
Armor (Queen’s Cover).
Formula XXVI
Treasure Map (Rock With A View)
Cosmetic (Rose Dye)
Cosmetic (Ocean Blue Dye)
Travelling Vendor. Look for the kite in the sky to find him. He will sell you the following collectibles:
Idol Of Destruction
Essence Stone (Paralysing Wound)
Treasure Map (Temple Tower)
Cosmetic (Royal Blue Dye)
Cosmetic (Royal Purple Dye)
Cosmetic (Burgundy Dye)
Cosmetic (Saturated Gold Dye)
Treasure (By The Wayside) & Cosmetic (Leather Dye). Found in the desert once you have the “By The Wayside” treasure map. Dig up the treasure to get the Leather Dye.
Treasure (Temple Tower) & Cosmetic (Ancient Iron Dye). Found on the side of the big island in the island group to the east of the region once you have the “Temple Tower” map.
Treasure (Swamped). Found under the arch near the tower once you have the “Swamped” treasure map.
Treasure (A Forest With Secrets). Found behind the destroyed tower in the green area to the north of the gate.
Treasure (Rock With A View). From the area where you defeat the mini boss in the north, go through the left side can (on the map). Once you come out the other side you can find the treasure behind the rock.
Essence Stone (Draining Generation). Walk around the south desert until you trigger the “Watcher’s Fury” event. Loot the final enemy after the fight to get this Essence.
