Final Fantasy 16 How To Get Gotterdammerung (Half Past Twilight Trophy)
This guide will show you how to get the Gotterdammerung sword. Once of the best weapons in the game. This will also get you the Half Past Twilight trophy in Final Fantasy 16.

Gotterdammerung is one of the best weapons in Final Fantasy 16 (the best if you don’t count Ultima weapon that can only be obtained in New Game +). However, to get this weapon you will have to finish a few hunts to get the right crafting materials. Follow this step-by step guide to get the Gutterdammerung.
Step 1. Finish the “Blacksmith’s Blues IV” side quest. This side quest will become available during/after “Across The Narrow”. You will also have to finish the “Blacksmith’s Blues I, II & III” side quests (they will all become available in the Hideaway as you progress the story). Doing this quest you get you the “Gotterdammerung Design” & the “Ragnarok”.
Step 2. You will now have to get 3 Orichalcum. The first can be obtained from Notorious Mark: Atlas. You can find it in Rosaria > Eastpool during/after the “Out Of The Shadow” chapter.
Step 3. To get the 2nd Orichalcum, defeat Notorious Mark: Gorgimera in Dhalmekia > The Dalimil Inn (available during / after the “Across The Narrow” chapter).
Step 4. You can get the final piece of Orichalcum by finishing the “Under New Management II” side quest in Sanbreque > Northreach (available during the “Back To Their Origin” chapter after finishing the “Under New Management” side quest).
Step 5. The next material you need to craft the Gottammerung is a Battlehorn. To get this, defeat Notorious Mark: Gobermouch in Waloed > Eistla during/after the ”Brotherhood” chapter.
Step 6. Next, you will need 2 pieces of Darksteel. To get the first one, defeat Notorious Mark: Thanatos in Dhalmekia > The Gilded Path during/after the “Brotherhood” chapter.
Step 7. Defeat Notoruois Mark: Prince of Death in Sanbreque > Northreach during the “Back To Their Origin” chapter after finishing the “Under New Management II” side quest to get your second piece of Darksteel.
Step 8. Finally, head to the blacksmith to craft the “Gotterdammerung” and get the “Half Past Twilight” trophy!
