There are a total of 4 Potion upgrades in Final Fantasy 16 (2 potency upgrades & 2 inventory amount upgrades). Here are the locations.
Potency Upgrade #1. Obtained by finishing the “The Root Of The Problem” side quest found in the Hideaway during/after the “After The Storm” chapter.
Carry Capacity Upgrade #1. Obtained for finishing the “Weird Science” side quest found in the Hideaway during/after the “Out Of The Shadow”.
Potency Upgrade #2. Obtained for finishing the “Please Sir, Can I Have Some Morbol” side quest in the Hideaway during/after the “A Song Of Hope” chapter. This side quest will only be available after finishing the “The Root Of The Problem” side quest.
Carry Capacity Upgrade #2. Obtained after finishing the “Even Weirder Science” side quest in the Hideaway during/after the “Across The Narrow” chapter. This side quest will only be available after finishing the “Weird Science” side quest.
