Normal Weapons
Puppet's Saber, Wintry Rapier & Greatsword Of Fate. These are the 3 starting weapons. All 3 of them can be purchased from the merchant next to the Chapter 1 > Cerasani Alley Stargazer. Make sure you buy them before the end of chapter 8.
Krat Police Baton. In Chapter 2 > Inside The House On Elysion Boulevard, follow the main path until you get to the courtyard with the police elite enemy. Defeat him to get the weapon.
Salamander Dagger. From the Chapter 3 > Workshop Union Entrance Stargazer, go up the stairs and into the room on your left. Here, fall down the hole to find the weapon in the safe.
Fire Axe. In Chapter 3 > Workshop Union Culvert, go up the hill to the area where the boulders are rolling down. Go all the way to the end that the boulders are coming from to find the weapon in the chest.
Big Pipe Wrench. In Chapter 3 > Center Of Venigni Works, follow the main path into the mines. Once you get to the area with multiple wooden platforms and ladders (just before the tunnel with the shovel elite), stay on the upper level, cross to the left side by using the plank of wood and climb the ladder to find the weapon in the chest at the top.
Blind Man’s Double-Sided Spear. In Chapter 4 > St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel, follow the main path until you get to the top (the area where you have to jump across 2 gaps where the 2 wooden wheels are spinning and a brazier. Here, jump over the first gap, then wait until you can jump onto one of the spinning platforms of the 2nd wooden wheel. Stay on the wheel until you see a platform you can jump to. You will find the weapon in a chest here.
Acidic Crystal Spear. From the Chapter 5 > Path Of The Pilgrim Stargazer, go forward until you see some enemies and a barrel on fire. Here, drop down and go right to find the weapon in the chest.
Bone-Cutting Sawblade. From the Chapter 5 > Malum District Stargazer, follow the main path until you get to the big courtyard with the bonfire, elite enemy and more enemies throwing stuff at you from the rooftops. Here, go around the right side of the building in front of you and look for a ladder on your left. Once you are on the rooftops, go left and then right to find the weapon in a chest.
Bramble Curved Sword. Can be purchased from the merchant in the Inn close to the end of Chapter 5 > Malum District (this is the building that connects to the first Stargazer).
Dancer’s Curved Sword. In Chapter 6 > Rosa Isabelle Street Entrance, follow the main path and go through the building with the exploding enemies. Once you come out the other side, you will find some enemies with guns on your left. The weapon is inside the chest behind these enemies.
Exploding Pickaxe. From the Chapter 6 > Estella Opera House Entrance Stargazer, enter the opera house and take the first path on the left. Follow this path until you see the large pirate skeleton enemy emerge from the room in front of you. Defeat it and enter that room to find the weapon in the safe.
Clock Sword. From the Chapter 6 > Estella House Opera Stage Stargazer, follow the main path through the streets until you see some covered carnival stands. Here, climb up the ladder to find the weapon in a chest.
Circular Electric Chainsaw. Can be purchased from the merchant in Chapter 7 > Lorenzini Arcade. You will come across the merchant on the main path when you pick up the Underground key.
Spear Of Honor. In Chapter 7 > Lorenzini Arcade you will eventually use a key to open the underground section. Here take the first path on the right to enter a tunnel covered with toxic mist. Continue down this path until you see a safe. The weapon can be found in the safe.
Live Puppet’s Axe. From the Chapter 8 > Barren Swamp Stargazer, backtrack to the area just before (where the tower with the first ballista is found). Here, climb the inside of the tower to find the weapon in a chest at the top.
City Longspear. From the Chapter 8 > Barren Swamp Ravine Stargazer, go through the cave with all the boulders (main path) until you come out at the top (where the ladder shortcut is). Here you will see a wooden hut to your left. The chest with the weapon can be found inside the hut (watch out for the enemy inside).
Master Chef’s Knife. From the Chapter 9 > Krat Centra Station Platform Stargazer, take the first gate on your right (this is a shortcut, so if it’s your first time here you will have to go through a large part of the level until you get here) and go down the stairs. At the bottom, go straight to the end to find the weapon in the chest on the other side of some boxes.
Coil Mjolnir. Soon after the Chapter 9 > Krat Central Station Lobby you will come out to a plaza. Here, go to the far left corner to find this weapon in a chest.
Military Shovel. Can be purchased from the merchant above the Chapter 9 > Abandoned Apartment Stargazer.
Black Steel Cutter. To get this weapon you will first have to decipher the Rusty Cryptic Vessel (full guide HERE). Once you have done that you will have access to Chapter 8 > Hermit’s Cave. From the stargazer, climb down the ladder and cross to the other side to find the weapon in the chest behind the wooden wall in front of you.
Cursed Knight’s Halberd. In Chapter 10 > Relic Of Trismegistus Entrance follow the main path until an elite enemy breaks through the wall on your right. Before heading through that wall, head to the broken bridge on your left to find the weapon inside a chest.
Acidic Great Curved Sword. From the Chapter 11 > Arche Abbey Outer Wall Stargazer, follow the main path until you get to a room with an elite cat enemy with tentacles and a hole in the floor (this is just before you get to the bridge you have to activate from the tower to the right and the ballista in front of you). The weapon is found in the small room to the right just past the hole in the floor.
Tyrant Murderer’s Dagger. Can be purchased from Pulcinella after giving him any of the Venigni Collection Boxes (Full guide HERE)
Pistol Rock Drill. Can be purchased from Pulcinella after giving him 2 Venigni Collection Boxes (all location guide HERE).
Carcass Crystal Axe. Can be purchased from Subject 826 after finishing his side quest (Full Guide HERE).
Special Weapons
Proof Of Humanity. When talking to Geppetto at the end of Chapter 11 (after the Simon Manus boss), pick the “Refuse” option. Then, defeat the Nameless Puppet to get his rare ergo. Exchange this ergo with Hugo to get the weapon.
Golden Lie. To get this weapon you first first have to get the portrait from the building at the end of Chapter 5 after defeating the Eldest Of The Black Rabbit Brotherhood boss and give it to Geppetto before the end of Chapter 8. You will then be able to get the weapon from the portrait once you have max humanity. Check out THIS GUIDE on how to reach maximum humanity.
Story Related Ergo Special Weapons. The remaining special weapons can all be purchased from Alidoro / Hugo in exchange for story related boss ergo. If you used any of these rare ergos to get amulets you will have to play through NG+ to get the Rare Ergo again.
