Wuchang All Bamboozling Locations
This guide will show you how to get all 20 Bamboozlings in Wuchang. This will get you the "Bamboozling Return" trophy.

Bamboozlings are a type of collectible in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. They are little non-hostile creatures that will try and run away from you once you get close. You “collect” them by hitting them once before they disappear. There are a total of 20, and finding them all will get you the “Bamboozling Return” trophy/achievement. Below you can find the location of them all in the order I found them as I played through the game.
Bamboozling #1. Worship’s Rise - Lightzen Temple.
After getting the key from the “Master Raider - Man-Eating Dhuntanga” boss (story related), exit the temple by using the key (story path). By following the main path, you will soon see the Bamboozling as you make your way down the hill.
Bamboozling #2. Worship’s Rise - Lightzen Temple.
After defeating the boss and leaving the temple, continue down the story path until you see Nian on the side of the path just before some stairs that go up on your left. Do not go up the stairs and take the path on the right. Continue down this path until you see a bridge on your right. Do not cross the bridge and continue straight to find the Bamboozling.
Bamboozling #3. Worship’s Rise - Shu Sanctum.
From the shrine, turn around and exit through the temple through the main door. Go down the stairs and cross the invisible bridge marked with coloured stones on the right. Go left until you get to an area with bamboo. Here, go up the hill to the right to enter another village. Make your way through the village until you fight a fire bird enemy. From the fire bird arena, take the left path and enter the second building on your left. Go through the building to find the Bamboozling on the other side.
Bamboozling #4. Worship’s Rise - Mercury Workshop.
Cross the red bridge behind the shrine and go left. As soon as you turn left, look for another red bridge below you and drop down to it. Go through the cave and climb the ladder to come out the other side. Then cross the red bridge and go right to find the Bamboozling at the top of the slope.
Bamboozling #5. Worship’s Rise - Doomwillow Beach.
Continue through the area on the main path until you reach the large tree where you find the Red-Clay Lady. As you make your way down the hill on the other side of the tree, take the first right to find the bamboozling.
Bamboozling #6. Worship’s Rise - Palace Hill.
Take the path to the left of the shrine to find the Bamboozling on the main path.
Bamboozling #7. Cloudspire - Cloudspire Outskirts.
You should see this Bamboozling on your way to the “Ming General - Liu Cheng’en” boss from the Cloudspire Outskirts shrine if you opened the shortcut. The Bamboozling will be just before the drawbridge.
Bamboozling #8. Cloudspire - Rebel Camp.
Climb down the short ladder to the left of the shrine. At the bottom, go right and look for the Bamboozling just before the wooden lift to the left of the slope.
Bamboozling #9. Cloudspire - Snowfall Palace.
Go left of the main stairs outside the palace to find the Bamboozling in a small alley.
Bamboozling #10. Cloudspire - Shaft Entrance.
Just after the shrine, you will come to a wooden bridge with swinging traps. On this bridge, drop down to the wooden platform below. Then follow this path until you see a large enemy that uses corruption and a set of stairs on each side. Go up either of the stairs to find the Bamboozling at the top.
Bamboozling #11. Mt. Zhenwu - Avian Marsh.
Use the first ladder shortcut outside the hut with the shrine in it (if you don’t have it, exit the hut and go straight until you can turn right and follow this path to knock down the ladder to the shrine). At the top of the shortcut, follow the story path on your right until you see a burned tree on your right with a shiny object in a bird’s nest. Interact with the shiny to drop down to a path below. After going around the first corner of this path, you will find the Bamboozling.
Bamboozling #12. Mt. Zhenwu - Avian Marsh.
Follow the main path until you go through the area with tree houses. Once you climb a ladder and come out the other side, you will see a path to your right that takes you to the boss and another root bridge in front of you (this is the bridge that takes you to the white flower field where you finish the White-Robed Elder’s side quest). The Bamboozling is on this root bridge.
Bamboozling #13. Mt. Zhenwu - Zhenwu Antechamber.
Follow the main path over the temple rooftops until you cross a small wooden bridge connecting a temple rooftop to a big open courtyard with multiple summoner enemies and 2 cannons shooting at you from the right. The Bamboozling is found in front of these cannons.
Bamboozling #14. Worship’s Rise In Ruins - Shu Sanctum.
From the Shrine, go up the stairs on your left and cross the bridge to leave the temple. Take the path up the hill on your right all the way to the top, where the tree is. On the other side, look for some floating coloured stone indicating an invisible bridge. The Bamboozling will be on the other side of this bridge before entering the courtyard on the right.
Bamboozling #15. Worship’s Rise In Ruins - Shu Sanctum.
From the Shrine, go up the stairs on your left and cross the bridge to leave the temple. Take the path up the hill on your right until you see a path on the right going down the hill. At the bottom, go left. Follow this path until you go through an area with buildings and large enemies. Once you come out the other side, you will be in a bamboo forest. Soon after, you will see a wooden path crossing some red water. The Bamboozling will spawn on your left just before you get to the wooden path.
Bamboozling #16. Worship’s Rise In Ruins - Palace Pass.
To get to this optional shrine, continue on the path where you found the previous Bamboozling. You will actually see the Bamboozling just before you get to the shrine on a red bridge. If you missed it, go to the shrine and backtrack through the cave filled with corruption. As soon as you come out the other side, you will see the bamboozling on the red bridge.
Bamboozling #17. Worship’s Rise In Ruins - Shu Sanctum.
From the shrine, turn around and exit through the main door. Go down the stairs and cross the invisible bridge on the right. Go left and follow the river until you get to the area with the bamboo where the paths split into two. Take the dirt path to the right to find the Bamboozling.
Bamboozling #18. Bo Capital - Capital Entrance.
Take the path to the left of the shrine to get to the area with the face shooting at you. Follow the path up by pressing the yellow switches to deactivate the faces. Just after the second yellow switch, continue up the hill to find a shortcut lift on your left and a red bridge on your right. The Bamboozling can be found on the red bridge.
Bamboozling #19. Bo Capital - Shrine Dwelling.
This Bamboozling can be found on the main path in the Shrine Dwelling area. This is a secret, optional area. To get here, you will first have to get to the Depths Of The Capital shrine. You can get there by following the path past the previous Bamboozling and going left of the angel enemy. Then go right on the red bridge to find the lift that takes you to the Depths. From the Depth Of The Capital shrine, examine the riddle door and select "The wheel turns anew” (this is the wrong answer, so make sure you backup your save if you want the Sage trophy). This will now take you to the Shrine Dwelling area. Once inside, follow the path until you find it just before the end.
Bamboozling #20. Bo Capital - Depths Of The Capital.
Look for the yellow switch in the middle of this area and press it to open two doors. Take the door on the left of the switch to find the Bamboozling on the path to the Benediction Door at the end.
