Wuchang All Weapon Locations
This guide will show you where to find all 24 Weapons in Wuchang. Finding them all will get you the "Legendary Collector" trophy.

In Wuchang, there are a total of 24 weapons. They are all needed to get the “Legendary Collector” trophy/achievement. Most can be looted from the ground, some are boss drops, and a few are rewards for finishing NPC side quests. Many of the weapons are missable, as the first region of the game is no longer accessible after reaching the fourth region. This guide will cover them in the order I found them in-game. You can also see the guide in video format at the bottom of the page.
Cloudfrost’s Edge. Worship’s Rise - Reverent Temple.
You will obtain this weapon automatically as soon as you leave the cave you start the game in.
Halberd. Worship’s Rise - Reverent Temple.
After defeating (or getting defeated by) the tutorial boss, go through the door where the Boatman NPC is and pick up the yellow shiny in front of you to get the weapon.
Red-Tasseled Spear. Worship’s Rise - Buddha Cliffs.
From the shrine, go down the ladder and through the cave (main path). Once you exit the cave through the top exit, go right. Then stick to the right to go up a hill to a small camp with enemies. Defeat them to find the weapon on a corpse.
Darkfrost Edge. Worship’s Rise - Lightzen Temple.
On a table to the right of the shrine, close to where you first entered the temple walls.
Steampowered Spear. Worship’s Rise - Lightzen Temple.
After defeating the boss and leaving the temple, continue down the story path until you see Nian on the side of the path just before some stairs that go up on your left. Do not go up the stairs and take the path on the right. Continue on this path to the end (don’t cross the bridge on your right), and you will find a cave on your left. Inside, you will find the Panda merchant (you will also come across him multiple times later, so don’t worry if you missed him here). This merchant will sell you the weapon for 1 Bamboo Shoot. These can be obtained by collecting Bamboozlings (full locations guide here). You can also get one by talking to the Storyteller NPC in the same cave.
Un-Equilibrium Blades. Worship’s Rise - Shu Sanctum.
From the shrine, turn around and exit through the main door. Go down the stairs and look for an invisible bridge on your right (marked by some coloured stones). Cross the bridge and go left to find an enemy that smashes through the door on your right. The yellow shiny object on the ground in front of this door is the weapon.
Empyrean Greataxe. Worship’s Rise - Shu Sanctum.
From the shrine, turn around and exit through the main door. Go down the stairs and look for an invisible bridge on your right (marked by some coloured stones). Cross the bridge and go left until you get to a bamboo area. Here, take the path up the hill on the right to find another small village. Make your way through the village until you fight a Fire Bird. After defeating it, take the stairs on the right side of the arena and enter the building on the right at the top. Then go upstairs and climb the ladder to reach the rooftops, where you will find the weapon behind a red-eyed enemy above the area with the fire bird.
Firearm Blades. Worship’s Rise - Shu Sanctum.
After making your way through the village with the Fire Bird mentioned in the previous weapon, take the path on the right just before the optional boss arena, where you can fight “Gluttonous Monstrosity - Lu Hongliu”. On this path, you will find a tree you can use as a shortcut back to Shu Sanctum. Do not cross the tree and continue up the hill. Look for a path on your right that takes you down some wooden ramps to the area below. Here, go right to enter a village. After going down the first lot of stairs, go left to find the weapon at the end of the path (watch out for the enemies close to the weapon).
Lashing Whip. Worship’s Rise - Mercury Workshop.
Cross the red bridge behind the shrine. Then go right until you see 2 small enemies on your right. The yellow shiny object between these enemies will be the weapon.
Astral Blade. Worship’s Rise - Bandit Cave.
Automatically obtained when defeating the Blightweaver - Great Centipede story boss.
Gunpowder Spear. Cloudspire - Cloudspire Outskirts.
In a small chest on top of the tall building, where you light the first of the 3 flames.
Twin Bandits. Cloudspire - Cloudspire Outskirts.
Continue through the village until you climb a ladder and get to the 2nd pillar with infinite spawning enemies. Just past the pillar, take a right and then another right to find a big wooden gate. On the other side of the gate, keep right until you see a red-eyed enemy guarding the small chest containing the weapon.
Flamebringer. Cloudspire - Rebel Camp.
Obtained by defeating the boss of this small optional area, “General Of The North - Ai Nengqi”.
Boreal Abyss. Cloudspire - Snowfall Palace.
From the shrine, go straight up the stairs and then go right. Continue on this path until you get to a large central room in the palace with a lift that works by standing on a pressure plate. Stand on it and get off to find a hidden lift below the main lift. Activate the lower hidden lift by standing on the switch hidden in the central column to get to a secret area below. The weapon can be found in the small chest in the corner of this area (watch out for the Inner Demon that invades you).
Bitter Severance. Cloudspire - Bride’s Boudoir.
Obtained automatically when defeating the story boss, “Perfect Bride - Fang Ling”.
Thunder’s Call. Mt. Zhenwu - Zhenwu Antechamber.
Obtained automatically when defeating the story boss, “South General - Liu Wenxiu”.
Cloudpiercer. Mt. Zhenwu - Zhenwu Antechamber.
After the boss arena where you fight “South General - Liu Wenxiu”, continue on the main path by going up the wooden ramps and platforms. Once you enter the first room of the temple, do not go up the stairs; instead, stay on this floor and go past the 2 enemies that give you despair. Then look for the stairs that take you to the floor below. On this floor, use the ladder to get even lower. Here, defeat the 2 bird enemies and get the weapon from the small chest.
Cinder Dragoncoil. Mt. Zhenwu - Pavilion Of Knowledge.
From the shrine, head upstairs and take the hall on your left before leaving the cave to find the weapon in a small chest.
Serpent Fang. Mt. Zhenwu - Ferry Overlook.
If you talked to Li and Sun at Cloudspire - Hillswatch, then talked to Li next to the shrine at Mt. Zhenwu - Zhenwu Antechamber, you should now see them on the left dock. Talk to them both, rest and return to find the weapon. If you missed them you may still be able to get the weapon by fighting them here.
Li Jiao’s Fang. Mt. Zhenwu - Ferry Overlook.
Talk to the Boatman on the right side of the docks and take the boat to reach Bai Mansion. At Bai Mansion, defeat the Bai Kru boss. Then return to the Boatman NPC at Ferry Overlook to get the weapon.
Zhanlu Sword. Worship’s Rise In Ruins - Shu Sanctum.
Obtained by finishing Nian’s side quest (full guide HERE). You can find him by taking the stairs to the left of the shrine, crossing the bridge (the one that was a shortcut in the first region) and going up the hill to the right. At the end, you will find Nian if you followed his quest. Depending on what options you selected during his quest, you will have to talk to him, rest and return to find the weapon on the ground or fight him to get the weapon.
Scorn Greataxe. Worship’s Rise In Ruins - Shu Sanctum.
From the shrine, go up the stairs on your left and use the bridge to leave the roof (the shortcut from the first region). Then go up the hill on the right and look for a hill that goes down on your right. At the bottom look for the weapon in a small chest in the destroyed building on your right (watch out for the enemies hiding).
Malice Sting.
To get this weapon, you will first have to follow the White-Robed Elder’s side quest (full guide HERE). Then, once you get to the final region, return to Mt. Zhenwu - Avian Dwelling and return to the white flower field where you talked to him for the final time. You will now have to fight him as a secret boss. Defeat him to get the Shu Army Board. Take this item to Tao Qing, who should be in Worship’s Rise In Ruins - Annalum to unlock the weapon in his shop.
Plumed Grace.
Obtained automatically after defeating the final boss of the game.
