Intro
1348 Ex Voto is a third-person action-adventure game with a cinematic combat system. Earning the Platinum Trophy can be done in a single playthrough. This is a fairly collectible-heavy Platinum with just over 100 collectibles. However, none of them are missable, as anything you miss can be cleaned up using Chapter Select after completing the story. In addition to collectibles, there are a few combat-related trophies. These include performing 5 Perfect Attacks in a row, 5 Perfect Dodges in a row, and 5 Perfect Parries in a row. These will most likely come naturally during normal gameplay. The remaining challenges are completing the game without dying and defeating the final boss without taking any hits. While the game isn’t extremely difficult, it’s also not particularly easy, and most players will likely die a few times during their first playthrough. If you don’t mind using cloud saves, it’s possible to complete everything in a single run by saving frequently and reloading if you die. Alternatively, you can simply enjoy the game and collect everything during your first playthrough, then start a second run for the no-death trophy, where your familiarity with the game will make it much easier and reduce the need to rely on cloud saves.
Step 1. Collectibles + No Death Run.
Play through the game while following our All Collectibles guide. During this playthrough, you should also back up your save to the cloud frequently (at least at the start of every chapter). This way, if you die, you can reload your cloud save to avoid voiding the Knight trophy for completing the game without dying. Once you reach the final boss, defeat it without taking any damage to earn the Saint trophy. If you get hit, simply reload the last checkpoint and try again. Don’t worry if you miss any collectibles, as you can use the Chapter Select feature after finishing the game to clean them up.

Unlock all Skills.
Skills can be unlocked in the Skills menu by spending Paper. These are one of the four types of Collectibles in the game. Normal Paper grants 5 skill points, while Large Paper grants 10. Unlike the other collectibles, Paper respawns when using Chapter Select. This means you can technically farm the same piece of Paper repeatedly if you finish the game and are still missing some skill points. Simply select a chapter, collect the Paper, reach a checkpoint, then quit to the main menu and repeat the process. However, if you follow the collectibles guide, you should have enough Paper by the end of the game.
Collect all Sword Parts.
Sword Parts can be used to customize your sword and give it effects. These are one of the four types of Collectibles in the game.

Collect all Treasures.
These are one of the four types of Collectibles in the game. They don't serve any gameplay purpose and are mainly lore items that help you better understand the world.
Complete the game.
Unmissable. Obtained after finishing the game.
Complete the game without dying.
Obtained by completing the game without dying a single time. This would be the hardest trophy in the game if you didn't use cloud saves. While the game isn’t extremely difficult, it’s also not particularly easy, and most players will likely die a few times during their first playthrough. It is highly recommended to back up your save to the cloud at least at the start of every chapter. That way, if you die, you can reload it and avoid voiding the trophy. To make things a little easier, consider spending the first Papers you collect on upgrades in the Prudentia skill tree, specifically the upgrades that increase your maximum health and food storage. The Lucky Horn trinket gives you a chance to double the food you pick up, providing additional healing. Later in the game, the Saint's Blood trinket allows you to refill your food bar by performing Perfect Attacks, while the Holy Bandages trinket doubles all healing from food.
Defeat the final boss without receiving health damage.
For this trophy, you must defeat the final boss without taking a single hit. This will likely be the only challenging trophy if you are using cloud saves for the no-death run. The fight has three phases and can be quite relentless during the final phase. However, it is not extremely difficult since the boss fight is fairly short. If you do get hit, you can simply reload the previous checkpoint to reset the fight and try again. Before starting, make sure you equip all Ultima Sword Parts. Also equip the Giant Feather and Dragon's Claw trinkets. Since you will win this fight by reducing the boss's guard gauge to zero, these will help deal more guard damage and keep your own guard gauge high. I highly recommend defeating this boss by parrying (hold down and then, just as an enemy attack is about to hit you, press ). If you want to play extra safe, you don't even need to attack at all. Simply focus on parrying every attack until you break the boss's guard. The advantage of parrying is that you will already have the guard button held down at all time, so even if you miss the parry you will often block the attack instead, which does not void the trophy. Just remember that attacks with a white spark cannot be blocked, so these are the ones that will require you to reset if you fail to parry them.
- Phase 1 This phase is fairly easy. Just parry every attack. If you want to speed things up, you can safely perform a two-handed combo after each of the boss's attack chains.
- Phase 2 While it is still possible to get some attacks in, I recommend focusing mainly on parrying. The boss becomes more aggressive, but this also means you can break their guard faster if you parry consistently.
- Phase 3 This is where the boss becomes very aggressive and uses more unblockable attacks. Do not try to attack here. Just focus on parrying. If you get hit, reload the checkpoint and try again.
