This guide will show you where to find every collectible, outfit, challenge and side quest in Duck Side of the Moon.
Welcome to our 100% guide for Duck Side of the Moon. This guide will show you how to get everything in the game, from every achievement to every chest, collectible, outfit, side quest, and challenge.
The game is divided into two large islands that you are free to explore. However, once you leave the first island, you will not be able to return, so everything there is missable.
Make sure you collect everything from Island 1 before completing the main mission "Finish The Masterplan." Upon completing this mission, you will go to Island 2 and will not be able to return to Island 1.
Island 2, on the other hand, can be revisited even after finishing the game.
The contents of chests are random, so to obtain all blueprints and outfits, you will need to open all of them.

ISLAND 1
Achievement: Quack!
Do quack 1 time by pressing L3 to obtain this achievement.
Achievement: Quacktastic!
Do quack 100 times by pressing L3 to obtain this achievement.
Side Quest #1 (Missable)
Talk to Dozy Gardener to start this side quest, grab the gems next to him and talk to him again to obtain the gem cake recipe. Craft the gem cake and deliver it to Dozy Gardener to complete this side quest.
Side Quest #2 (Missable)
Talk to Gemmy to start this side quest, then talk to Fred to obtain Gemmy's gem. Return to Gemmy and talk to him again to complete the side quest.
Achievement: Karaoke
After repairing the karaoke, grab a music disc and play it. While the music is playing, keep doing "Quack" by pressing L3 to sing along with the music. This will unlock this achievement.
Achievement: Songbird
Listen to a song on the jukebox for 5 minutes.
Side Quest #3 (Missable)
During the main mission The Misty Meteor, talk to the Conductor to start the side quest. Collect 2 Vibe Stones and 1 Rubber and craft the Gravity Pull Gadget, then use the Gravity Pull Gadget to bring the Geode in the cart to the Conductor, this will complete this side quest.
Side Quest #4 (Missable)
During the main mission The Misty Meteor, talk to Paul to start the side quest. Then talk to Shale and grab the fossil inside the chest underwater in the cave right in front of Shale. You will need the Gravity Pull Gadget to remove a meteor that is blocking the entrance. Return to Paul and hide the fossil, talk to Paul again to complete the side quest.
Achievement: Football Prodigy (Missable)
Score 5 goals to obtain this achievement.
Achievement: Say Cheeeeese! (Missable)
Interact with the lever inside the meteor's mouth to make it smile.
Achievement: Falling Star (Missable)
Fall off the map to obtain this achievement.
Chest #1 (Missable)
On the left side of your ship.
Chest #2 (Missable)
From the previous chest, go up and it will be on one of the small islands.
Chest #3 (Missable)
Next to the previous chest, on a small island.
Chest #4 (Missable)
From the previous chest, look at the central island and you will see this chest.
Chest #5 (Missable)
Below the roof on the central island.
Chest #6 (Missable)
Turn around and look down and you will see this one near the dock.
Chest #7 (Missable)
On the central island.
Chest #8 (Missable)
Look up and you will see a small island, go to it to find this chest.
Chest #9 (Missable)
At the top of the large meteor with water flowing through it.
Chest #10 + Groovy Key (Missable)
In the first area when entering the large meteor.
Chest #11 (Missable)
From the previous chest, continue following to the second area of the meteor where Luca is. Before talking to Luca, open the chest on the right side of the area.
Chest #12 (Missable)
After exiting the large meteor, go to the tower in the center of the island and open the chest with the groovy key.
POINT OF NO RETURN: Make sure you have collected everything from Island 1 before completing the main mission "Finish The Masterplan". Upon completing this mission, you will go to Island 2 and will not be able to return to Island 1.
ISLAND 2
Achievement: Bounce Frenzy
When exiting your ship, look to the left, and you will see 3 tents. Jump on the 3 tents in sequence to obtain this achievement.
Side Quest #5
Start the side quest by talking to Steph and Clara. Clean up the garbage piles and then return to Steph and Clara and talk to them again to complete the side quest.

Side Quest #6
Talk to Rika to start the side quest, then deliver the letter to Elise, return to Rika and talk to her again to complete the side quest.
Achievement: Burned Feathers
Take a hit from lava to obtain this achievement.
Side Quest #7
After restoring the island's power, talk to Scoot to start this side quest. Beat the time of 50 seconds to obtain the gold medal, this counts as a challenge which is required for the all challenges achievement, complete the side quest by talking to Scoot.
Side Quest #8 + Achievement: DJ Doug
Talk to Selina to start this side quest, compose your music and then talk to Selina again to complete the side quest.
Achievement: Flying Notes
Shoot 10 groove orbs in sequence to obtain this achievement.
Side Quest #9
During the main mission Find the Engines, Gresh will escape from you. After the brief cutscene, start the side quest next to the station by talking to Scoot, beat the time of 40 seconds to obtain a gold medal, this will count as a challenge, then talk to Scoot again and jump on the seesaw to complete the side quest.
Achievement: DING DING DING
Get the maximum score in the hammer mini game to obtain this achievement.
Side Quest #10 + Challange: Speed is a Key
Start the side quest by talking to Rune, then buy Aluminum with the tickets you earn from mini games, deliver the aluminum to Rune, return to your ship and craft a ducktape. On the way back to Rune, make sure to reach the station where Rune is in less than 16 seconds, this will complete the Speed is Key challenge, required for all achievements, deliver the Duck tape to Rune to complete the side quest.
Side Quest #11
Start the side quest by talking to Liam, complete the entire course by jumping across the wooden crates and talk to Liam again to complete this side quest.
Side Quest #12
Start the side quest by talking to Rosa, play any mini game to obtain tickets, use the tickets to buy an ice cream, deliver the ice cream to Rosa to complete the side quest.
Side Quest #13
First craft the Explosion Gadget, then talk to Harry to start the side quest, use the Explosion Gadget to open the path until you reach Hugo, talk to Hugo to complete the side quest.
Winter Outfit, Earwarmers, Winter Headband & Cake Hat
Talk to Walter to obtain the Winter Outfit, then play mini games until you get 300 tickets, buy the earwarmers, Winter headband & cake hat at Pip's shop.
IMPORTANT
Progress through the story until Astra gives you an outfit, this will be the last outfit you will receive automatically through main missions. All remaining outfits will be found inside chests along with the recipes for all the upgrades you will have to craft.

Enter inside the mine and blow up the two walls to find this chest.
Groovy Key
Directly from the previous chest, when exiting enter the small cave behind the lava to find this groovy key.

From the previous collectible, go down to the area below the train tracks and you will see this chest.

When exiting the mine, open the chest using the groovy key.
Chest #31
At the entrance of the mines.
Chest #32 + Groovy Key
Enter the mine through the main entrance and turn right, keep following until you find the groovy key and the chest.
Chest #33
At the back of the island where your ship is.

On the side of the island where your ship is.

Back of the same mountain as the previous chest, use the groovy key to open it.
Achievement: Craftsman
Now that you have all the recipes for the upgrades, return to your ship and check the requirements, collect the ores and craft all the upgrades.
