To unlock the map, you will need to repair the Nexus. Below you will find detailed step-by-step instructions on how to do this.
Step 1. Defeat enemies to obtain nacres. You will need 300 nacres.
Step 2. After obtaining all 300 Nacres, return to the Nexus and talk to Shii. You will have the option to offer her the Nacres. After offering her all 300 Nacres, she will repair the Nexus, allowing you to see the map.
