REANIMAL features 9 chapters and 7 different types of missable collectibles. Below you'll find a brief description of each one.
47 Secrets - Secrets refers to the trophies Hidden Among the Pines, Hidden Among Rats, and Hidden in Rubble. In REANIMAL, the secrets are the collectibles themselves such as posters, critters, masks, and more that you pick up throughout the chapters.
18 Masks - Upon collecting all of them, you'll unlock the Beneath the Mask trophy.
20 Posters - Upon collecting all of them, you'll unlock the A Proper Gander trophy.
5 Hidden Statues - Upon collecting all of them, you'll unlock the Prayer for the Dying trophy.
5 Critters - Upon collecting all of them, you'll unlock the Critter Kill Hit trophy.
5 Coffins - All 5 are required for the Secret Ending, which rewards you with the Friends Reunited trophy.
10 Rest Your Legs - By sitting on all chairs and couches, you'll unlock the Take a Load Off trophy.
The Secret Ending only triggers if you find all 5 Coffins in one continuous playthrough. Revisiting chapters to pick up missed Coffins won't activate it. Similarly, the 5th Hidden Statue will only light up and reward you with a Mask if you've collected every Hidden Statue in the same run going back for missed ones won't count.
Trophies that aren't related to the collectibles mentioned above can be obtained through New Game → Chapter Select if you happen to miss any. Everything will be listed in the order they can be unlocked, right below.
Chapter 1: Dead in the Water
Mask #1 + Secret #1. After climbing the first ladder, instead of going forward, head left all the way to the end and go through the door. Then, go through the hole in the wall to find this mask.
Rest Your Legs #1. From the previous collectible, to continue forward, you'll need to turn on the power. In that same room, sit on the chair.
Mask #2 + Secret #2. After helping your friend cross to the other side through the large spinning tube, go through the door and move into the next room by going through the closet. Once inside, you'll find this mask.
Trophy: Dark Tourism + Rest Your Legs #2 + Poster #1 + Secret #3. Later in the chapter, you'll head outside and see a man entering a house. Instead of going through the door he used, go to the right side of the house. There you'll find a man sitting in a chair. Kick him to unlock the "Dark Tourism" trophy. While you're there, sit on the chair and grab the poster right next to it.
Poster #2 + Secret #4. Right after the previous collectible, head to the next area and you'll see the cart you need to fix. Go through the door with the light on you'll find the poster stuck to the wall.
Mask #3 + Secret #5. After using the plunger on the toilet to get a key, head outside and go through the door with the light off. Inside, continue forward and you'll find this mask.
Rest Your Legs #3. Now use the key on the door to the left and go down the stairs. You'll find this chair right in front of you.
Coffin #1 + Secret #6. After fixing the cart and crossing the bridge, instead of going into the tunnel, get off the cart and head right. Enter the train and follow it all the way to the end to reach another area, where you'll find this Coffin.
Hidden Statue #1 + Secret #7. Right after the previous collectible, go through the tunnel. At the end of the tracks, enter the hole in the wall on the left. Inside, you'll find the hidden statue; light it up.
Poster #3 + Secret #8. After the ice cream truck chase, head left. You'll find this poster on a trailer.
Chapter 2: The Cleaning House
Mask #4 + Secret #9. At the start of Chapter 2, you'll open a door. In this room, you'll need to break the window with a ball to proceed. Before doing that, go through the hole in the wall on the left to find this mask.
Poster #4 + Secret #10. Enter the cinema. This poster will be to the right of the door.
Trophy: Rock ‘n Pop. From the previous collectible, grab the brick next to the door you came in through and throw it at the popcorn machine to break it and unlock the trophy.
Rest Your Legs #4. Later in the chapter, you'll pass through the cinema room and continue forward. Once you reach the open area, you'll find a sofa to sit on.
Poster #5 + Secret #11. Right after the previous collectible, head to the right to find this poster on the gate.
Rest Your Legs #5. A bit further ahead, you'll reach the laundromat and will need to wait for the man to open the gate so you can progress and save one of your friends. Here you'll find a chair to sit on. Also, don't forget to grab the crowbar.
Rest Your Legs #6. Later in this chapter, you'll hide under a table. After the man leaves, go through the next two doors and take the first left. Head all the way to the end and use the crowbar to enter the hallway. You'll see a toilet you can sit on..
Critter #1 + Mask #5 + Secret #12. When you leave the cinema again, now that you have the crowbar, head to the right side of the area. You'll now be able to open the door that was blocked with wooden planks. Once inside, defeat the critter to get the mask.
Chapter 3: After the Flood
Poster #6 + Secret #13. After opening the dam and moving forward past a few enemies, you'll need to park the boat on the beach to progress the story. This poster will be on your left.
Trophy: Naval Blazing. For this trophy, you'll need to destroy 20 Naval Mines using the harpoon throughout the game. There are 24 Naval Mines in total, meaning you can miss up to 4. In Chapter 3, you'll find 4 Naval Mines right ahead. Be sure to destroy them.
Coffin #2 + Secret #14. After detonating the first bomb, turn right, then right again. You'll see two bombs side by side blocking the path destroy them with your harpoon and continue toward the light at the end of the area. Go down the stairs and open this Coffin.
Coffin #3 + Secret #15. Right after the previous collectible, go through the hotel and continue forward, defeating enemies along the way. You'll see your friend being attacked by a giant bird and then enter an open area. Stay to the left and follow the edge of the large area until you find a cave. Go through the cave, and at the end, you'll find this Coffin.
Critter #2 + Mask #6 + Secret #16. From the previous collectible, continue with the story by going up the stairs. Once you're up top, head left until you reach the scarecrow. Hit the scarecrow with your crowbar, defeat the critter that appears, and you'll earn this mask.
Hidden Statue #2 + Secret #17. After the previous collectible, interact with the door, then go back and grab the key in front of the barn. Use the key to go through the door. Once inside, head to the right to find this hidden statue.
Poster #7 + Secret #18. Right after the previous collectible, after passing through the pigs and exiting the barn, you'll come to a cabin this poster will be next to the tractor.
Poster #8 + Secret #19. After being chased by the giant bird and as the barn catches fire, continue forward this poster will be on one of the poles to the right of the bus stop.
Rest Your Legs #7. Right next to the previous collectible, sit down at the bus stop.
Chapter 4: No Shelter
Poster #9 + Secret #20. On the pole at the start of the chapter.
Trophy: Scared to Dust. From the previous collectible, you'll go up and pass through the broken clock. In the next area, you'll find 13 Petrified Kid Statues destroy all of them in this room to unlock the trophy. Some may be in blind spots of your camera, so be sure to look around carefully.
Rest Your Legs #8. In the same room as the previous trophy, sit on the couch.
Poster #10 + Secret #21. Now go through the hole in the wall to get this poster. This will also cause a Critter to run into the previous room.
Critter #3 + Mask #7 + Secret #22. Go back to the previous room and defeat the critter to get the mask.
Trophy: Survival Instinct. In the next area, you'll find 3 enemies in the hallway. Let them defeat your friend to unlock this trophy
Hidden Statue #3 + Secret #23. Right after the previous trophy, head to the end of the hallway and go through the hole in the wall. Inside, you'll find this Hidden Statue.
Trophy: Long Live The King + Mask #8 + Secret #24. From the previous collectible, go back to the hallway and go through the hole in the wall. Once on the other side, you'll find a king sitting on his throne. Defeat the enemies around him until he steps down. As soon as he does, run behind his throne and start hitting him with your crowbar to take him down. You won't see him running away, so if he disappears, just restart the checkpoint. After defeating him, grab the mask.
Rest Your Legs #9. A bit further into the chapter, you'll see a tied-up pig and will need to jump back and forth between platforms. Head to the end of the hallway, go through the door, and this couch will be right in front of you.
Poster #11 + Secret #25. From the previous collectible, you'll need to turn on the power in the hallway, then go through the door on the left. Follow the only path forward, and you'll see this poster right ahead.
Mask #9 + Secret #26. From the previous collectible, you'll defeat a few enemies that throw spears at you. After that, you'll reach another hallway. Go all the way to the end and move toward the wall to sneak through and find this mask.
Coffin #4 + Secret #27. From the previous collectible, continue forward and you'll reach an area where one of your friends is hanging. Head to the back of this area and go through the door to find this Coffin.
Chapter 5: Down in a Hole
Trophy: Creature Comforts. At the start of the chapter, you'll see a pig running past you follow it and interact with it to unlock the trophy.
Poster #12 + Secret #28. After escaping the boss by going up the stairs, enter the closet to move to the next area and find this poster.
Rest Your Legs #10. From the previous collectible, sit on the last chair. If you've followed the guide up to this point, you'll unlock the "Take a Load Off" trophy. From here on, you'll find additional spots to rest your legs in case you missed any earlier.
Trophy: Lullabye. From the previous collectible, go through the back door and play the piano three times to unlock this trophy.
Poster #13 + Secret #29. From the previous collectible, go up the stairs and enter the first door on the left to find this poster.
Trophy: Shot Through the Heart. During the boss fight near the end of the chapter, several enemies will attack you by throwing spears. Your goal is to defeat 10 of these enemies using their own spears before taking down the boss. Doing this will unlock the trophy.
Chapter 6: Nobody Left Behind
Trophy: Secret Bunker. At the start of the chapter, enter the code 2-3-3-2 into the machine to unlock the trophy.
Poster #14 + Secret #30. This poster only appears if you've already unlocked the previous trophy "Secret Bunker".
Criter #4 + Mask #10 + Secret #31. From the previous collectible, kick the crate, climb down, and defeat the critter to get this mask.
Note: From this point on, remember to destroy all the naval mines you come across in the water.
Trophy: Non-Cannonical. From the previous collectible, take your boat and head to the cannon in the middle of the island. Grab a missile, load it, aim it back at the bunker you came from, and fire to unlock this trophy.
Mask #11 + Secret #32. After using the cannon to defeat the giant monster in the water, head toward where the monster was. You'll start to see some new naval mines go past them to the right until you find 3 more naval mines. Pass by them and park on the beach. Here you'll find the mask. Make sure to do this before entering the large stranded ship.
Poster #15 + Secret #33. After entering through the ship's hull, this poster will be directly in front of you.
Mask 12 + Secret #34 + Mask 13 + Secret #35. Right after you retrieve the eye of the underwater creature and deliver it to the whale, it will be directly in front of you.
Hidden Statue #4 + Secret #36. From the previous collectible, take your boat and continue forward through the water, veering slightly to the right while defeating some enemies along the way. Enter the cave on your right and go all the way to the end to find this hidden statue.
Trophy: Naval Blazing. From the previous collectible, you'll leave the cave and find another naval mine right ahead. If you've collected all the others so far, destroying this one will unlock the trophy for destroying 20 naval mines. After this, there will still be 4 more ahead in case you missed any earlier.
Trophy: Lost at Sea. Make sure to also complete the "Lost at Sea" trophy, which requires you to drive a total of 10,000 meters with the boat. Just keep sailing around until the trophy pops. If you don't get it now, you can always do it in Chapter 1 after finishing the game by going to New Game → Chapter Select.
Chapter 7: The Spoils
Poster #16 + Secret #37. At the start of the chapter, you'll find this poster stuck to the wall on the left side.
Mask #14 + Secret #38. Right after the previous collectible, go through the door on the right. This mask will be directly in front of you.
Mask #15 + Secret #39. Follow the trench while staying to the right until you find some wooden planks you can sneak through. Once on the other side, you'll find this mask.
Hidden Statue #5 + Mask #16 + Secret #40. From the previous collectible, follow the trench while staying to the left, and you'll see another spot to sneak through. Enter and you'll find both the hidden statue and the mask. This is where you'll unlock the Prayer for the Dying trophy for finding all hidden statues the mask will only appear here if you've collected every hidden statue.
Poster #17 + Secret #41. From the previous collectible, you'll be chased by the boss and will soon descend a large staircase into the underground area. Once down there, instead of continuing forward to the right, turn back to find this poster.
Mask #17 + Secret #42. From the previous collectible, take the elevator up, then enter the first room on the right. Crawl under the closet, and you'll find this mask on the other side.
Coffin #5 + Secret #43. From the previous collectible, you'll pass by some men and a few bombs. When you reach the hallway, head right to trigger the wall explosion, then go back and go through the hole in the wall. Open the compartment and go down the stairs down below, you'll find the final Coffin. If you've followed the guide up to this point and collected every Coffin, you've now unlocked the secret ending.
Chapter 8: The Watcher
Poster 18 + Secret #44. At the start of the chapter, go up the stairs, turn through the first door on the left, then go up another staircase and turn left. You'll see this poster directly in front of you.
Poster #19 + Secret #45. Right after the previous collectible, continue forward along the only path. Instead of going up the stairs, head to the back of the area to find this poster.
Trophy: Friends Like These. A bit further into the chapter, you'll go through another trench and enter a room. Once inside, you'll see some weapons in a crate. Pick one up and defeat your friend to unlock the trophy.
Critter #5 + Mask #18 + Secret #46. From the previous collectible, use the weapon to get the key, go through the door, open the crate, and return to the previous room. Defeat the critter to obtain the hat.
Poster #20 + Secret #47. From the previous collectible, you'll encounter the boss and need to climb a wall. After climbing it, go through a door with a red light above it. Once inside this room, open the elevator door to find the final poster.
Trophy: Just Making Sure. From the previous collectible, you'll need to use a rocket launcher to defeat the sniper who's shooting at you. Once he's down, continue forward. He'll be on the ground to your right. Kick him to unlock this trophy.
Chapter 9: All-Consuming Past
Trophy: Destruction Derby. At the start of the chapter, you'll be driving a tank. Your goal is to run over 24 cars with it. There are more than 24 cars in this area, so just make sure to drive over every one you see while escaping from the boss. If you don't manage to get them all, you can always return to this part via Chapter Select.
Trophy: Friends Reunited. If you found all 5 Coffins during your playthrough, you'll unlock the secret ending automatically at the end, alongside the normal ending.
