Wuchang Dream's Sweet Deceit Ending Guide
This guide will show you how to get the "Dream's Sweet Deceit" Ending in Wuchang.

There are 4 possible endings in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. The Sweet Deceit is True ending of the game and the hardest to get. Here are all the needed steps.
Step 1. Go to Worship’s Rise - Reverent Temple and talk to He Youzai. He can be found next to the river on the main path just after exiting the temple grounds through the gate where the Boatman NPC was.
Step 2. Get the Lost Package for He Youzai. You can find this by going to Worship’s Rise - Buddha Cliffs and going through the cave (story path). As you come out the other side of the cave, you will see a purple item in front of you. This is the Lost Package.
Step 3. Go to the Worship’s Rise - Shu Sanctum shrine and head up the stairs on your left. At the top, talk to the White-Robed Elder found on the balcony in front of you.
Step 4. Go to Worship’s Rise - Corpse Pits and follow the main story path until you open a wooden gate once outside. On the other side of the gate, you will find He Youzai. Talk to him to continue with his quest.
Step 5. From the Worship’s Rise - Doomwillow Beach shrine, go left and through the valley. Then take a left just before going up the stairs to find the White-Robed Elder. Talk to him to continue with his side quest.
Step 6. After defeating Commander Honglan, return to Worship’s Rise - Reverent Temple and talk to He Youzai inside.
Step 7. Go to Cloudspire - Hillswatch and make your way through the small village as you climb the mountain. Just before you come out the other side, you will see some stairs going down to your left (this is just before you see Nian on the right side of the path). Take these stairs and then go left again to find a tomb. Use the “Examine” emote at the tomb to get the Shu Silk Scarf for Fang Yao.
Step 8. You will next find the White-Robed Elder as you climb the tower to light the second fire in Cloudspire - Cloudspire Outskirts (story path). Talk to him to continue his quest.
Step 9. After defeating the Ming General - Lin Cheng’en boss and resting at the Cloudspire - Snowpeak Pass shrine, continue on the main path by going through the building on the left, then entering another building and climbing to the top floor. You will then cross to another building and leave it by exiting through the door on the right. You will then cross a wooden walkway to the building where you have to talk to He Youzai.
Step 10. From Cloudspire - Cloudspire City, turn right and go down the street until you see a door on your right with an enemy outside. Defeat the enemy and then talk to Fang Yao through the door and give her the scarf.
Step 11. You can find Fang Yao right next to the Cloudspire - Shaft Entrance shrine. Talk to her and select “AGREE TO HELP”.
Step 12. Go to the Cloudspire - Shaft Entrance and drop down to the wooden platforms to the right of the bridge with swinging traps. Then follow this path past the corruption spider and drop into the next room, then down the ladder. At the bottom, go up the stairs and around the outside area. Once back inside, continue past the area with lots of pots and go right. Then take a left after the first switch on the wall and then right after a stone door to finally drop down into the area with a purple item on a table. Pick it up to get the Mad Doctor’s Research Notes.
Step 13. From the Cloudspire - Bride’s Boudoir shrine, turn around and cross the bridge to find He Youzai. And show him the doctor’s notes.
Step 14. After defeating the Fang Ling boss at Cloudspire - Wedding Hall, rest at the shrine to find Fang Yao in this room. Talk to her.
Step 15. As you make your way to the 3rd region by going through the cave just up the hill from the Cloudspire - Hillswatch shrine, you will see a path going up to your right after a summoner enemy close to the end of the cave. Take this path to find the White-Robed Elder. Talk to him to advance his quest.
Step 16. From the Mt. Zhenwu - Battlefield Pass shrine, continue through the level on the main path to find He and Fang soon after exiting the cave filled with blood and the despair enemy. After the cave, go right to follow the main path down the hill, where you will find them at a small camp. Talk to them both.
Step 17. From the Mt. Zhenwu - Refugee Camp shrine, go right and down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, cross the wooden bridge on your left. On the other side, go right to find the White-Robed Elder. Talk to him and select “AGREE”.
Step 18. Go to Mt. Zhenwu - Avain Marsh and follow the main path. After going through the cave with the Despair inflicting enemy in the centre and the traps, you can find the White-Robed Elder beside the main path soon after leaving the cave. Talk to him to advance his side quest.
Step 19. Summon the White-Robed Elder to defeat the Bo Sorcerer boss at the end of Mt. Zhenwu - Avian Dwelling.
Step 20. From the Mt. Zhenwu - Avian Dwelling shrine, cross the shortcut on the left side behind the shrine. Then go straight ahead and cross the bridge made of vines to enter the white flower field. Here, talk to the White-Robed Elder.
Step 21. After defeating the Fierce Tiger boss in Mt. Zhenwu, continue on the main path WITHOUT TALKING TO THE STORYTELLER (THIS WILL TAKE YOU TO THE 4TH REGION) to get to Mt. Zhenwu - Bai Mansion. To the left of the shrine, you can talk to He Youzai.
Step 22. From the Mt. Zhenwu - Bai Mansion shrine, go down the path to the left and through the cave to find the Bai Kru optional boss. Summon He Youzai to defeat him by using the Bone Whistle. This will get you the Research Journal - Scrap 2.
Step 23. Return to He Youzai and talk to him next to the Mt. Zhenwu - Bai Mansion shrine to give him the Research Journal - Scrap 2.
Step 24. Talk to He and Fang in Worship’s Rise In Ruins - Annalum. They can be found together outside one of the buildings in the area that the Storyteller teleports you to.
Step 25. Once you get to Worship’s Rise In Ruins - Reverent Temple, take the path just to the right of the shrine and talk to Fang Yao to get the Ring Of Samsara - Cause.
Step 26. Enter the Reverent Temple and go up the stairs to talk to He Youzai and show him the Research Journal - Scrap 3 to get the Ring Of Samsara - Effect.
Step 27. After going through the Reverent Temple, you will find Xuanyangzi. Talk to him and select “REMAIN SILENT”.
Step 28. Once you reach the final region (Bo-Capital), return to the white flower field in Mt. Zhenwu - Avian Dwelling to find the White-Robed Elder as a boss. Defeat him to continue with the steps for the ending.
Step 29. You will now have to get to the optional shrine “Bo Capital - Shrine Dwelling”. This is a secret, optional area. To get here, you will first have to get to the Depths Of The Capital shrine. You can get there by taking the path to the left of the shrine to get to the area with the face shooting at you. Follow the path up by pressing the yellow switches to deactivate the faces. Just after the second yellow switch, continue up the hill to find a shortcut lift on your left and a red bridge on your right. Take the red bridge and then go left of the angel enemy. Then go right on the red bridge to find the lift that takes you to the Depths. From the Depth Of The Capital shrine, examine the riddle door and select "The wheel turns anew” (this is the wrong answer, so make sure you backup your save if you want the Sage trophy). This will now take you to the Shrine Dwelling area. Once inside, follow the path to the end and interact with the altar. Here, select “Reform Causality” to craft the Ring of Samsara - Rebirth.
Step 30. Now, just defeat the final boss of the game and interact with the gate with the Ring Of Samsara - Rebirth in your inventory to get the True Ending.
