ROADMAP
Intro
Akatori is a Metroidvania action platformer where you play as Mako, a young monk girl who sets out on a journey to save her world from the devastating Amber Storms and industrial decay.
The trophy list is much like other Metroidvanias: collectible heavy, with a few miscellaneous trophies mixed in. A lot of areas are out of reach until you unlock certain abilities, so it's best to come back and clean up the collectibles after finishing the game. The one exception is a missable collectible, the first cat, which sits in an area that becomes unavailable later on, so look out for it and grab it as soon as possible. You can find it in our All Cats guide.
Step 1. Play Through the Game + Collect the First Cat
Play through the game, get to the end, and enjoy it. Collect anything you come across along the way, but don't worry about hitting 100% just yet. The one exception is the first cat, which is located in an area that later becomes unavailable, so make sure you pick that one up as soon as you come by it. You can see the exact location in our all Cats guide.
Step 2. Collectibles
After you finish the game you can load your save and spawn before the final boss. You should now have all the required abilities to clean up the collectibles, which are the Cats and the Bells of Chaos.
Step 3. Miscellaneous Cleanup
After finishing the game and finding all the collectibles, you may still have a few miscellaneous trophies left to unlock, like jumping over a Torii Gate, purchasing the Amber Globe or collecting 30,000 Amber. Now is the time to clean them up! Check out the achievement descriptions below for details.

Defeat at least one enemy of each type
To obtain this Trophy you will need to defeat one enemy of each type. This can easily be done at the Bells of Chaos since each one presents a different variation of enemies. See our guide with the location of all Bells of Chaos.
Defeat Major Major
Story-related and cannot be missed.
Drink any 50 potions
To obtain this Trophy drink 50 Potions. You can drink any potion and it will count toward the Trophy. If you purchase the cheapest Potion from any merchant you will need a total of 7,500 Amber Shards.
Buy Mako an Amber Globe
To obtain this Trophy head to Amber Plant and purchase the Amber Globe for 5,000 Amber Shards from the Merchant.
Fix the Pump in the Amber Mines
Story-related and cannot be missed.
Collect 3,000 Amber in total during one playthrough
To obtain this Trophy collect 3,000 Amber Shards. This can easily be done by defeating any type of enemy.
Visit the Amber Plant
Story-related and cannot be missed.
Visit the Amber Forest
Story-related and cannot be missed.
Find all of Mako's Health points
To obtain this Trophy you will need to find all of Mako's Health Points. With the exception of 2, all other Mako's Health Points are obtained as part of the story by defeating bosses during your playthrough.
Mako's Health #1
Can be purchased from the merchant in Amber Mines for 7,500 Amber Shards.
Mako's Health #2
Obtained by completing all Bells of Chaos. See our guide with the location of all Bells of Chaos.
Provoke enemies to kill each other 5 times
To obtain this Trophy simply lure any enemy that has a ranged attack so that it hits another enemy. This is easily done during your playthrough and will come naturally.
Visit the Amber Castle
Story-related and cannot be missed.
Defeat Wasp
Story-related and cannot be missed.
Visit the Amber Mines
Story-related and cannot be missed.
Try to jump on the torii gates
Just try to jump over any Torii Gate to obtain this trophy. You will find the first ones right at the very start of the game, but they appear throughout, so you'll have plenty of chances.
Collect all Akatori spirits in the Amber Castle
To obtain this Trophy you will need to find all Cats in Amber Castle. See our guide with the location of all Cats.
Collect all Akatori spirits in the Amber Plant
To obtain this Trophy you will need to find all Cats in Amber Plant. See our guide with the location of all Cats.
Collect all Akatori spirits in the Amber Mines
To obtain this Trophy you will need to find all Cats in Amber Mines. See our guide with the location of all Cats.
Collect all Akatori spirits in the Akatori Monastery
To obtain this Trophy you will need to find all Cats in Akatori Monastery. See our guide with the location of all Cats.
Deflect the Amberized Shieldsman's shield
To obtain this Trophy you will first need to complete all Bells of Chaos to unlock the Deflect ability. To do so, see our guide with the location of all Bells of Chaos. After unlocking the ability, head to the location marked on the map in Amber Plant and wait for the enemy to throw its shield at you. Hit the shield at the right moment to deflect it and unlock the Trophy.

Unlock the first Chaos Arena Ability
To obtain this Trophy simply complete any Bell of Chaos. See our guide with the location of all Bells of Chaos.
Unlock all Chaos Arena abilities
To obtain this Trophy you will need to complete all Bells of Chaos. See our guide with the location of all Bells of Chaos.
Spend at least 10 minutes in the water during one playthrough
To obtain this Trophy simply stay underwater for 10 minutes. This is cumulative and you will most likely unlock it naturally while playing.
Visit the Guide Stones 100 times after Mako's Death
To obtain this Trophy simply die 100 times to respawn at the Guide Stone.
Collect 30,000 Amber in total during one playthrough
To obtain this Trophy you will need to collect 30,000 Amber Shards. To obtain Amber Shards simply defeat any type of enemy.
