Resident Evil 9 Requiem The Final Puzzle Solution
This guide will show you how to solve "The Final Puzzle" in Resident Evil 9 Requiem.
“The Final Puzzle” is a challenge in Resident Evil 9 Requiem that requires you to solve a game-wide puzzle. Here are the steps you must follow to solve it.
Step 1.
In the Basement area under the Care Center, you will reach the Processing Area by following the hanging zombies. Once here, DO NOT interact with the switch that drains the pool. You will now need to wait 15 minutes.
Step 2.
After draining the Processing pool, drop down to the shredder. Here, DO NOT KILL any zombies. Let them all die in the shredder (you can shoot and push them toward it).
Step 3.
After completing the Processing pool sequence and picking up the final Joint Plug, you will need to slide down a set of pipes. You will land in a pool of blood. In this area, press the switch.
If you followed the previous steps correctly, you should receive one of the following prompts after draining the pool: “A Ton of Blood Flowed Out” or “A Torrent of Blood Flowed Out”.
Step 4.
After leaving the Basement and returning to the Care Center, go to the Restroom and flush the first toilet 8 times.
Step 5.
Continue through the game until you obtain the helicopter key. After picking it up, you will need to escape the underground lab. In the room where the large sphere explodes, pick up Marie’s Doll just before going up the stairs.
Step 6.
This item will carry over to future playthroughs, so you must finish the game while keeping it in your inventory.
Step 7.
Start a New Game and play through until you escape the Basement (there is no need to repeat any of the previous steps on this playthrough). After escaping the Basement area in the Care Center with Emily using the lift, turn around and pick up the Severed Hand.
Step 8.
Take the Severed Hand to the Analyzer in the Blood Lab and solve the nodes puzzle to get a code.
The next 4 steps are how to decrypt the code. You can skip to Step 13 if you just want the solution to this part of the puzzle.
Step 9.
The first clue can be found on the side of the blood analyzer (G = 150000000). This is the distance of the sun from Earth. so G = Sun.
Step 10.
The second clue can be found in the hourglass in the VIP suite in the Care Center Courtyard (U = 380000). This is the distance of the moon from Earth. So U = Moon.
Step 11.
The third clue can be found on the file in the Private Lab under the vip suite (C = 4.2ly). Thealpha centauri system is 4.2 light-years away from Earth. So C = Star.
Step 12.
The final clue can be found just after defeating the Tyrant in Raccoon City Center. Push the head into the hoop and then examine the figurine in Gun Shop kendo. It will tell us to Ignore A.
Step 13. Now that we know the code, load a save where you’ve already used the analyzer on the severed hand. Head to the Lead Researcher’s Office with Marie’s Doll in your inventory (it can be found in any storage box) and Emily in your arms. Then interact with the puzzle box and, using what we learned about the symbols, enter the following sequence:
Sun – Sun – Star – Sun – Moon – Star – Sun – Moon – Sun – Moon – Star – Moon.
