The Bamboo Strikes are a type of collectible in Ghost Of Yotei and require you to finish some QTE. These will raise your Max Spirit, making them one of the more valuable collectibles in the game. These are also one of the three collectibles needed to get the “Body, Mind and Spirit” trophy. None are missable and they can all be obtained after finishing the main story. Here are the locations of all 15.
Bamboo Strike #1. Obtained automatically during “The Way Of The Dual Katana” story quest.
Bamboo Strike #2. Obtained automatically during “The Oni” story quest.
Bamboo Strike #3. Found at your Home. Fix it, and then you can complete it.

Bamboo Strike #8. Found in the temple area that can only be accessed during/after “The Spider Lily” Mythic Tale. You Will start this quest automatically when approaching the Mysterious Gate. The Bamboo Strike can be found in this area. Go to the gate with the 4 locks on it and go left to find a bamboo forest. The Bamboo Strike will be just inside.
Bamboo Strike #9. Found outside Huranui’s Rest Inn. You will have to consume Sake (Down on the D-Pad) finishing this one.

Bamboo Strike #15. Before attempting this Bamboo Strike, grab the metal swords and spears in the area and throw them away so that the lightning does not strike you.
