Myths are side quests in Nioh 3. By finishing them all, you will get the Answering to the People trophy. None of them are missable, and they can all be done after finishing the main story.

1622 CE - Return to Edo

No Myths in this region

1572 CE - Warring States

Kodama Seeker. Starts automatically when collecting your first Kodama.

Insatiable Hunger. Talk to the ghost in the northern part of Tokaido.

A Drop Of Hope. Talk to the ghost to the west of the gate in Tenryu River.

Desecrated Hot Springs. Talk to the ghost next to the cave entrance in Tokaido.

Abundant Evil. Becomes available after clearing the story-related crucible in Hamamatsu. Talk to Honda Tadakatsu and help him clear the enemy camp in Maisaka.

Becoming Champion Of The East. Talk to Honda in Hamamatsu after finishing the Abundant Evil myth.

Headaches. Talk to Tokugawa at Himamatsu Castle after finishing the Abundant Evil myth.

The Great Shogun Of The Heian Era. Talk to Tokugawa at Himamatsu Castle after finishing the Headaches side quest and then resting.

Searching For A Spy. This quest will start automatically as you enter Futamata through the southern entrance.

The Demon’s Regimen. Talk to Hanzo in Hamamtsu after finishing the Searching For A Spy side quest.

Fated Land. Becomes available after clearing the story-related crucible in Hamamatsu. Talk to Ii Notara and help her take back the temple.

Il’s Memento. Talk to Ii Naota at Hamamatsu Castle after finishing the Fated Land myth.

Disaster At Lake Hamana. Starts automatically as soon as you enter Lake Hamana.

Those Who Live In The Shadows. Will start automatically when getting close to the Omomiji Junction shrine in the Iinoya region.

A Fierce Flame. Talk to the Blacksmith in the Eternal Rift to start the quest.

Depicting The Tiger Of Kai. Talk to the ghost in Futamata Road region after defeating Takeda for the second time.

1190 CE - Heian

Memories In The Blade. Talk to the Blacksmith at the Eternal Rift after getting to the second main region of the game. You must have also finished the Fierce Flame myth.

The Value Of Perfection. Talk to Matsunaga at the Hidden Teahouse in the Eternal Rift after reaching the second main region.

Follow The Soldier’s Shadow. This quest will start automatically after defeating the 1st boss in the second region.

Thoughts Bequeathed. Talk to Minamoto in the Rokuhara region after finishing Follow The Soldier’s Shadow side quest.

Triple Triumph. Found in Mount Kurama after finishing the Thoughts Bequeathed side quest.

Unwavering Hope. Talk to the ghost found in the Sagano region. Use the Spirit Vein to the east to reach it.

Shadows On The Capital. Talk to the ghost in the Awawa No Tsuji region.

Putrid Paradise. Talk to Tatsumaro in the Hachijo region. Finishing this quest will get Tatsumaro the Dung Lover to move to the Eternal Rift.

In Search of Eternal Youth. Talk to the ghost in the Sagano region.

True Samurai Of Kamakura. Can be started in the Mount Kurama region after defeating the boss in Crucible in this region.

Yokai Horde Picture Scroll. Can be found in the Kamo Village region. Use the Spirit Vein and follow the path to the west until you see a small shrine with some dark mist. Interact with it and defeat the enemies.

The Box’s Guardian. Talk to the NPC in the Hachijo region.

247 CE - Antiquity

No Myths in this region.

1622 CE - Return to Edo

No Myths in this region.

1864 CE - Bakumatsu

Shinsengumo Scheme. Talk to the ghost in the Shimabara region.

Seeking Spirit Stones. You can start this quest by talking to Thomas in the Shichijo region after defeating the Kasha boss in the armoury in the Shichijo region.

A Present From Whom?. Talk to Thomas in the Shichijo region after finishing the Seeking Spirit Stones side quest.

Sealed In A Stone Urn. Talk to the ghost in the Shichijo region.

Peerless Katana. Talk to Takasugi in the Shichijo region.

Ryoma’s Bequeathment. Talk to Himiko in the Shichijo region.

The Rebels’ Whereabouts. Talk to the ghost in the Sanjo region.

Seeking Rare Yokai. Talk to the ghost in the Kiyomizu region.

Doctor’s Pride. Talk to Kusumoto in the Shichijo region after finishing the Kiyomizu Defiled Battle Scroll, which can be done by defeating the boss at the end of the Kiyomizu region and then talking to Kusumoto.

Old Medicine, New Problems. Talk to Kusumoto in the Shichijo region after finishing the Doctor’s Pride side quest. You may also need to have finished the Headaches side quest in 1572 CE - Warring States.
