Shrines and Bodhisattva Statues are checkpoints and places where you can rest. Shrines can also be used as Fast Travel Points. Bodhisattva Statues can only be found inside large Crucibles. You can repeat these Crucibles from the Battle Scroll menu at any shrine. By resting at all of them you will get the Devotee trophy.
