ROADMAP
Intro
The Adventures of Elliot is an HD-2D style Action RPG in the vein of the classic Zelda games. You get an open world that opens up further as you progress through the story. The twist is that you can visit four different versions of that world, since the game takes you across four different ages. You can travel between them at any time, and in practice you will treat them as separate regions altogether, as they have very little connection to one another as far as gameplay goes.
The game has three endings, all obtainable in a single playthrough, since one leads into the next in typical RPG fashion. The platinum is very collectible heavy, but luckily there are not many missable trophies. The only thing to watch out for is the Side Quests. If you leave some of them too long they will disappear for good, voiding not only the side quest trophy but potentially the accessory one too, if the quest you miss happens to reward an Accessory.
Apart from that, you can play through the game on any difficulty, enjoy it, and clean up the rest after you finish. The Fairy Powers (the metroidvania style powers of the game) are mostly optional, so keep in mind that until you collect them, some collectibles will be out of reach. However, they are never needed to finish the main story. One tip: stick to a single weapon until you earn its weapon specific trophy, which asks you to defeat 200 enemies with it (it is 200 kills for each weapon, except the bombs, which only need 100). Once you have that weapon's trophy, switch to the next one. If you play through the whole game with just one weapon, you will be left grinding kills with all the others at the end, which gets tedious.
Step 1. Finish the Game and Side Quests.
First, enjoy and play through the game until you naturally get the first ending while you pick up anything you may come across. While doing so, every time you get a notification about a new Side Quest appearing somewhere in the world (you can see the general location through the "Quests" menu), make sure you finish it ASAP so you do not miss it. If you miss a side quest you will void the trophy, and potentially the accessory related trophy too if that side quest happens to reward you with one. Also try to stick to a single weapon until you earn its weapon specific trophy, which asks you to defeat 200 enemies with it (it is 200 kills for each weapon, except the bombs, which only need 100). Once you have that weapon's trophy, switch to the next one. If you play through the whole game with just one weapon, you will be left grinding kills with all the others at the end, which gets tedious.
Step 2. Get the Other Two Endings.
Once you naturally get the first ending (the bad one), follow our All Endings guide to get the other two endings. If you cleared every side quest as you played through the game, you will only have a handful left, and they will appear during the process of getting the final ending. Just keep in mind that they are really time sensitive, so as before, do them as soon as they appear. It is also worth noting that, although not missable, after the True Final Boss for the last ending there is a small scene where you walk around Huther. During this scene there are 3 of the Manuscripts (these are the lore collectibles). They will only spawn during that scene, but if you don't pick them up, don't worry: after the credits you can just fight the boss again and replay it.
Step 3. Fairy Powers.
After getting all 3 endings and finishing every side quest, it is time to start with the collectibles. I recommend going after the five Fairy Powers first, along with their enhanced versions. Not only are they needed for trophies, they are also the game's metroidvania style powers that let you reach new areas and solve puzzles. They can all be found at Fairy Shrines, small buildings with a little challenge inside related to the ability you are about to learn.
Step 4. Collectible Cleanup.
Now that we have the Fairy Powers and all four regions of the map free to explore, it is time to go after the other collectibles. These are:
Step 5. Miscellaneous Cleanup.
You should now have most of, if not all, the trophies. The few you might have left are all miscellaneous ones, like clearing the final Trial in the Temple of Trials, getting a few more kills with a specific weapon, or breaking some pots. Whatever they are, now is the time to mop them up and finish off the Platinum!

Formed magicite for the first time.
As you explore the world and defeat enemies you will get Magicite shards. You can then use them at the Magicite Shop (one found in the village of each age marked with a gem on the map) to craft random Magicite. These are crystals that you can put on your weapons to give them special effects and make them stronger.
Reached the maximum magicite form rank.
As you craft magicite at the shop in the villages, your rank will go up. This will boost the probability of getting higher rank magicite. This will be one of your final trophies, since reaching max rank (10) costs a lot of shards. If you have everything else done and are still short, head to the Temple of Trials and replay some of the harder ones to farm magicite. You can also set the difficulty to easy in the menu to make it faster.
Formed top-ranked magicite for the first time.
Craft one five-star magicite. These are extremely rare at the start, but once your form rank reaches 5 or higher the chances of crafting one grow very fast, so this will most likely come before you reach form rank 10.
Increased vitality for the first time.
Increase your vitality (max health) for the first time. This happens as you collect your first 4 Shards of Life. All Shards of Life
Reached a vitality level of ten.
Reach a vitality level of ten, which takes 20 of the 60 Shards of Life (every 4 shards give one container). None are missable and they can all be collected after finishing the game. All Shards of Life
Acquired a total of ten thousand tul.
Tul is the main currency of the game, and they look like rupees. This will almost certainly come naturally since they drop from almost every enemy.
Acquired every manuscript.
Acquire every manuscript. None are missable: even the 3 that only spawn during the epilogue can be picked up by defeating the True Final Boss again. All Manuscripts
Collected every cat.
Collect every cat. None are missable and they can all be collected after finishing the game. All Cats
Had a friendly cat come to the orphanage for the first time.
After collecting a cat, it will return to Huther in the Age of Safekeeping. You can then interact with it there and give it food. Each cat has a different favourite food, so watch out for which food makes the cat show the double heart emoji (this means it is their favourite). You will then have to feed it its favourite food a few times until it does not want any more. Then fast travel to another age, return, and continue feeding it. Once you give it enough food it will go to the orphanage and you will get the trophy. You can buy food from the shop in Huther. All Cats
Cleared the Hero’s Trial.
The Hero's Trial is the final trial in the Temple of Trials. You can find it in Age of Safekeeping > Westerea. To unlock this trial you will have to reach the endgame and finish all the trials before it. They become available as you progress through the game. This one is basically a boss rush, and if you die you have to start from the beginning. It is by far the most challenging thing in the game, but since you can play on easy, it is not too bad. Just make sure you fill your empty vials with potions.
Cleared all of Faie’s magic lessons.
Once you collect a Fairy Power from one of the Fairy Shrines, you can go to the "Faie" menu in the main menu and play a practice minigame for that power. Once you have all 5, finish all 5 minigames to get the trophy. You do not need to get max score or collect any discs. Just reach the end of each one.
Defeated two hundred enemies with the sword.
Defeat 200 enemies with the sword. Tip: stick to a single weapon as you play through the game until its trophy unlocks, then switch to the next, so you are not left grinding kills with all the weapons at the end.
Defeated two hundred enemies with the spear.
Defeat 200 enemies with the spear.
Defeated two hundred enemies with the hammer.
Defeat 200 enemies with the hammer.
Defeated two hundred enemies with the chain and sickle.
Defeat 200 enemies with the chain and sickle.
Defeated two hundred enemies with the bow.
Defeat 200 enemies with the bow.
Defeated two hundred enemies with the boomerang.
Defeat 200 enemies with the boomerang.
Defeated one hundred enemies with bombs.
Defeat 100 enemies with bombs. Note that bombs only need 100 kills, not the 200 the other weapons require.
Defeated thirty enemies with Faie’s attacks.
Defeat 30 enemies using Faie's attacks. You control Faie with the right analog stick. Just crash her into the enemies to damage them. Use the Ignite Power to do more damage.
Defeated a jewelrie for the first time.
Jewelries are friendly, harmless turtle creatures with gems on their backs. These are rare creatures that spawn at random. They have a lot of HP but do not attack you. Each time you hit one it will drop tul. If you take too long to defeat it, it will disappear. You may not be strong enough to defeat one in the early stages of the game, but you will be closer to the end. You can equip the Fortune's Brooch accessory to raise the chances of one spawning.
Defeated a Red Lizkit for the first time.
Red Lizkits are dangerous grim reaper type creatures that spawn at random. They are powerful and deal a lot of damage, but they always reward you with a good amount of magicite if you defeat them. You will get attacked by one during the story, but if you did not defeat it, you can equip the Fortune's Brooch accessory to raise the chances of another one appearing.
Chained thirty bonus drops.
As you defeat enemies without taking a hit you will get bonus drops. You can see how many you have chained by looking out for the number that appears over the enemy as soon as you defeat them. Reach a chain of 30 to get the trophy.
Asked for revival from Faie for the first time.
If you die, you can pay Faie to revive you. Just pay her once to get the trophy.
Destroyed two hundred barrels and pots.
Destroy 200 barrels and pots. Will most likely come naturally.
Cut grass three hundred times.
Cut grass 300 times. This will most likely come naturally. However, if you are still missing some, head to the Grandtree in any age, as the rooms are filled with grass.
Used medicine thirty times.
You can purchase medicine from the items shop in any of the main villages. You will, however, need Empty Glass Vials to put the potion into. There are eight in the game, mostly purchased from the shops in each village, with a few from side quests. However, you can do this with a single vial: just purchase a potion, use it, then purchase another and repeat. This will probably come naturally anyway.
