Duskfade Canal Hamlet All Collectible Locations
This guide will show you where to find every collectible in Canal Hamlet. None are missable, and you can return here at any time, even after finishing the main story. It is recommended that you clean up the collectibles after finishing the story, since you will need certain Metroidvania style abilities to reach some areas and collectibles. These abilities are all obtained automatically as you play through the main story.
Echo #1. At the start of the area, in plain sight.
Flask of Dye #1. On the platforms on the side of the cliff to the left of the previous echo. Use a time bomb or wait for the water spout to come up from the right side to reach it.
Clock Heart Piece #1. Continue through the level until you reach the town. Here, climb up the wall on the first house to your right, then make your way around the buildings until you see an NPC on a balcony. Go into the room behind the NPC to find the collectible.
Echo #2. Drop down from the balcony where the NPC is and look right to find the echo in front of a house.
Music Box #1. Continue towards the cliffside past the house where the previous echo was, then use the boxes outside the house on the right to reach the balcony where the music box is.
Upgrade Gear #1. On the roof of the house in the middle of the town. Use the bouncy flower to reach it.
Thieving Kitten #1. Use the bouncy flower to the right of the previous gear to reach the roof of the house on the right. Then look right to see the kitten on the next rooftop.
N1-C0in #1. After leaving the town you'll climb around a purple mountain. Halfway up, you'll jump over a climbable wall below you. Drop down this wall to find the coin.
Upgrade Gear #2. Once you reach the top of the purple mountain, look left to see a booster ring you can fly through. Do this to reach the gear on the distant tower.
Upgrade Gear #3. Once you reach the fast travel point of the level, go up the small slope to the right, then look straight ahead to see a small area with tall mushrooms. Climb them to reach the gear.
Rainbow Ingot #1. Continue through the level until you see a bridge on your left and an area with a red hue straight ahead. Go to the red area and under the rock arches, then head left and make your way along the cliffside. In the next area you'll see a purple door on your left. Finish the platforming inside to get the collectible.
N1-C0in #2. Return to the bridge and cross it. After jumping across the rock platforms to get to the other end of the valley, turn around and use the bouncy flower on the left to backtrack through the upper part of the valley. You wil then see the coin on your right above the bridge you crossed.
Broken Stained Glass #1. Go back through the valley, but this time use the grappling point to reach the crystals on your left. Destroy them to get through to the area above the mushrooms, where you'll find the collectible in a buried chest.
Flask of Dye #2. After the valley you'll reach an area with a massive wall you can climb on the left and a tall bridge on your right. Go under the bridge and use the grappling points to reach the buried chest with the collectible inside.
Echo #3. Next, climb the massive wall (story path), then at the top, look left and jump across the platforms in the water to reach the echo.
Echo #4. In the same area as the previous collectible, go across the long pathway over the water and you'll see the collectible on the platform to your right.
N1-C0in #3. Backtrack along the long pathway on the water and look for a small railing you can grind on your left. Use it to reach the top of the tall bridge with the 3 grinding rails. Get to the end of them and you'll be able to grapple to the tower above the fast travel point. Then continue grinding on the rails to reach the area above. Defeat the enemies to unlock a jump pad in the next area, then defeat some more enemies to access the chest with the coin inside.
