Duskfade Stonetusk Canyon All Collectible Locations
This guide will show you where to find every collectible in Stonetusk Canyon. None are missable, and you can return here at any time, even after finishing the main story. It is recommended that you clean up the collectibles after finishing the story, since you will need certain Metroidvania style abilities to reach some areas and collectibles. These abilities are all obtained automatically as you play through the main story.
Flask of Dye #1. Soon after the start of the level you'll go through a small town with a few NPCs and buildings. Use the platform on the right at the end to jump up to the first building. Then jump and dash across to the building on the other side where the flask is.
N1-C0in #1. Advance on the main path until you cross some spinning platforms and then see a rope bridge. Before crossing it, look down below to see a jump pad. The coin is beside the pad.
Clock Heart Piece #1.
N1-C0in #2. After crossing the rope bridge you'll have to climb around the left side of an open area with some spinning platforms at the end. After crossing to the other end, first use the gear on solid land to spin the upper platform, then quickly jump onto the spinning platform next to you and hit the gear on it to spin it up to the upper platform. Jump onto it and jump to the bouncy flower on the building to reach the upper area. Follow the path, cross the bridge and defeat the enemies to get the collectible.
Upgrade Gear #1. Follow the main path until you cross a valley using some blue platforms spinning around. Once you cross to the other side, turn around to see an upper platform on the side you just came from. Use a time bomb to get enough height and glide to it. Then from there, jump to the climbable wall to find the gear at the top.
Music Box #1. Continue on the main path until you cross a long electrified bridge with a small village at the other end. Here, use the jump pad on the right side to get up to the first rooftop. Then jump across the rooftops to get to the other end where the music box is found. Use time bombs if you need more height.
Broken Stained Glass #1. Use the jump pad in the village again to get to the ledge above it. Then from here, look for a booster ring in the air to the left of the gear. Fly through it to reach the collectible on the other side of the canyon.
Star Core Fragment #1. After returning to the small village, continue by riding the grinding rails. You'll eventually reach an area with some trees. Once you get to the locked metal gate, change over to the right rail and immediately turn around. Then follow this path all the way to the top where you'll find a purple door. Finish the platforming section inside to get the collectible.
N1-C0in #3. After opening the metal gate and riding the rail to the end, you'll arrive at another village (story path). Here, go right and look for some boxes you can jump over between the buildings. The coin will be on the other side.
Flask of Dye #2. Leave the village via the broken bridge. Then cross the sandy area with enemies and you'll see a bell on the left side. At the bell, look left to see a small platform against the same cliff. Jump to it to find the flask.
Upgrade Gear #2. Soon after the previous collectible you'll ride some rails, then ride some vertical planks up to a circular platform. From here you'll cross two columns and reach a square platform with a grappling point to the right. Use the grappling but instead of jumping to the 2 blue platforms, look left and land on the platform with the collectible on it.
