Duskfade Royal Highroads All Collectible Locations
This guide will show you where to find every collectible in Royal Highroads. None are missable, and you can return here at any time, even after finishing the main story. It is recommended that you clean up the collectibles after finishing the story, since you will need certain Metroidvania style abilities to reach some areas and collectibles. These abilities are all obtained automatically as you play through the main story.
Upgrade Gear #1. After jumping over the very first gap at the start of the level, you'll see a railing you can grind. Turn around and use it to reach the purple door. Finish the platforming section inside to get the collectible.
Clock Heart Piece #1. Continue through the level and you'll soon use two grappling points to reach an area with purple crystals. Here, look for a corner-shaped grinding rail you can use. Ride it facing the direction you just came from to reach a column. From here, use the grappling point to get to the climbable wall that'll take you up to the collectible.
Upgrade Gear #2. Continue through the level and you'll hang onto a moving plank of wood, then jump to another to get to the pathway above. On this pathway, turn around and ride the rail to reach the small structure where the gear is.
Star Core Fragment #1. After riding a rail that makes you hit a switch to open a metal gate, you'll reach an area surrounded by columns. Here, look for a bony plant on the side and use it to get to the top of the columns. Jump around the columns anticlockwise all the way to the end to see a rocky area in front of you. Climb it to the top to get the collectible.
N1-C0in #1. Continue through the level by jumping onto the rails from the top of the columns mentioned in the previous collectible. While riding these rails, always stick to the left side. Then once you start going uphill, look out for a small platform on your right with the coin on it.
Flask of Dye #1. From the previous coin, jump onto the rails to continue forward. At the end you'll jump to the structure where this collectible is. Just climb to the top to find the buried chest.
N1-C0in #2. Jump down to the large area with the sun dial. Then cross over to the other side and look for a small area below with the collectible in a buried chest.
Flask of Dye #2. Climb back up to the sun dial and use the gears to spin it clockwise a little until it's facing the small temple up above. Grind on it to reach it. Then grind on the next rails to get to a small area with a jump pad. Use the jump pad to reach the ledge above it. On this ledge, use the rail to get to the lone structure on the right where the flask is.
Music Box #1. Return to the sundial and continue spinning it clockwise until it's facing the platform directly above the rails you used to get here. Ride it to reach the platform with the purple cracks. Then drop down behind this platform to find the music box.
N1-C0in #3. Continue past the music box and climb to the top of this structure. Then look right to see a circular structure. Climb onto it and around it to find the coin.
Broken Stained. Return to the sundial and turn it clockwise once again until it's facing a small floating platform with a small structure behind it in the distance. Ride the dial to get to the platform, then defeat the enemies and reach the structure with the collectible on it.
