To start the “Jo’s Rainy Day Stash” lost and found quest, go to Venice beach and pick up the phone inside the Surf rental shop (break the glass to get in).
Next, head southeast and pick up the phone inside the other surf rental shop.
Now, head behind the shop and look for a red truck. You should soon see zombie Jo. Kill him to get a key.
Finally, climb up the building to the north of the red trunk and jump across to the building to the right. You will find the chest that finishes the quest on the other side of the gate on the roof (just watchout for the trap).
